The food was good. We were seated quickly. Our waitress didn't check on us much, but she did bring us whatever we needed. Our food was delicious. I had the Raven Deluxe without tomatoes. I shared the chocolate truffle dessert with my friend. The restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly.

I love the seafood here. I got the broiled seafood platter with salmon, scallops, shrimp and a crab cake. It was awesome. I've been going to the Raven since the early 70's. I am sad to see them closing.

When I dined here smoking was still allowed in the bar. This took away from the dining experience. Also the elderly guy running the gift shop was not very courteous despite the fact that I purchased two t-shirts from the store. I do still like the classic Raven logo, so two stars for that.

Nice mixed drinks & good food... took rather long to receive for as empty as it was (an hour). Prices were "ok" I guess. Server had her children there w/ their friends whom kept coming n grabbing sodas from bar. Not very professional... server n hostess were down to earth tho, I like "normal" employees... not tryna "fake it". Would return... that's all that matters!

I've been coming here since I was 17, and even when I'd moved away I come here whenever we're in town. Now we've moved back and are super disheartened to learn the Raven may be closing! Nooooo!

Lousy food. Taste like something you could get from a hole in the wall restaurant off Atlantic Avenue. Service was too slow. Ridiculous
Worst service ever , waited for 20 min after being seated by the waitress, after asking to be served we were told the servers were changing shifts and then at 5:30 pm dinner time , finally when food arrived waitress picked up fries from platter with her bare hands and told us “don't to worry I just washed my hands†and one hamburger was missing from the order.

Still the best food on the strip in Virginia Beach!! Had the blackened tuna steak sandwich and a crab cake sandwich broiled. Both were out of this world, crazy delicious.

I had the fish tacos, my son had the crabcake burger, kids all had grilled cheese and fries. Food was very good and our service was great too. Kids loved the take along souvenir Frisbee with their meals.

It had been about 10 or so years since we were here last. Came in today for lunch and noticed the entrance had cigarette butts and other litter strewn about and the landscaping needed maintenance. We were greeted by friendly staff and seated right away. The cigarette smell wasnt terrible but we knew to expect that.Our waitress came right away. She was friendly and attentive. We ordered hamburgers. Things seem to have changed over the years. We got what appeared to be preformed burgers that lacked flavor, possibly purchased frozen. For this time of year, one would expect a ripe tomato which we did not get. The biggest turn off was the lemon in our waters... looked like the pieces had been sitting out, had biofilm build up. The patio (non smoking section) seemed nice but if you look up, you can see some kind of black build up on the exposed ventilation. Very disappointed. Two stars because of the wait staff and bartender.

The food here is amazing, we went back the next day we loved it so much. The drinks were fantastic and the staff was great as well. It doesn't look like much from the outside but don't judge a book by its cover!! My son is the luckiest eater ever and even he love the food here!!
