Went here for Restuarant Week. I try to go every year, but Rustic Spoon is very popular, so make your reservations!!! I ordered the corn chowder (amazing!!!) & the avacado benedict; delicious! My bf ordered the risotto balls (I stole one: very yummy) & the french toast, which was piled high with whipped cream. He left nothing on his plate!
Overall great quality food, great flavor, and good price. Ordered the chicken and waffles and “The Spoon” (eggs, bacon, potato, and toast) and tried their apple pie pancakes. The chicken and waffles drizzled with hot honey were one of my top 3 on chicken and waffles I’ve had. For the other breakfast plate, the scrambled eggs were really creamy and buttery. But the toast was heavily burnt, almost like charcoal, but I suspect it’s a one off thing? Even the potatoes were...
This was a hidden gem and I will return again and again. I had the special sweet potato ham biscuits with fresh strawberry 🍓 preserves. The atmosphere was warm and cozy and the service was A1.
