The food redeemed the initial impression of this place. Five 20-something females were gathered around the hostess stand chatting and finally acknowledged us, only to dismiss us with a proposed 15+minute wait because of "reservations." We arrived at 4:30 and were promptly seated at the requested booth, waitstaff were excellent and attentive. Menu had a diverse of offerings from food to drink. We hadn't seen our long time friends for awhile...so it was nice to reminence and visit and our conversations were flowing...however, about 20 minutes later we all were struggling to hear one another over the Happy Hour crowd that was forming. This happens when you go to early dinner in many places...would be nice...
The Rustic Spoon was an outstanding dining experience. Vickie was on time with every need of our table. We had a Manager ask us if we were okay and if we needed anything. Clams delicious, salad fresh, Steak med rare to perfection and apparently Mark makes the delectable blackberry oreo cheesecake that I'm sure I will be craving. I'm sad that we didn't know about this place before but we will definitely be going again. Kudos to the staff where the food and staff...
