I hope that those who want to buy live crabs and steamed crabs here will not be cheated like us. On the occasion of going to VA Beach ( 7/20/25), I wanted to buy fresh crabs caught here, instead of buying crabs in the markets. The seller of live crabs / steamed crabs here is not honest, not polite and do not care customers. Moreover, he cheats the buyer, at first he told my sister that it was $120/ bushell. When my sister wanted to buy 1/2 bushell, he calculated the price for steaming and the price of crabs by dozen, not by bushell. The steaming fee for each dozen is $10.00. When I asked him again how much is 1 bushell, he said $130.00/ bushell, not $120/ bushell as he told my sister. The steaming fee for a bushell is $20.00. I agreed to buy $150.00 for 1 bushell of steamed crabs. But the steamed crabs I brought home were all dead crabs, not a single one was fresh. Even though I told him not to give me dead crabs. But his attitude and words at that time were very unpleasant, spiteful and not care customers.

Don’t know, since we left. All they had was pizza and tacos with fish on them. The only fish plate they had was an $80 platter for lunch. They no fryer, not even She Crab soup, which is a staple here. Yet there is a seafood store attached! Very strange!

We’ll definitely share about this awesome business with our family & friends and look forward to visiting again soon! You can have them steam up the seafood you pick out from the case and take it with you to go too if you don’t have time to cook it up at home.The local fish & oysters were so fresh, it took me back to my childhood. I also loved the shrimp and scallops! I remember fishing in VA with my Dad and him shucking oysters for our family and getting fresh fish and seafood here brought back great memories of this area for me. This business also offers unique gifts including wine, bottled sauces, and beautiful ocean themed artwork for sale in their retail store.

I bought oysters here, but more than half of the oyster shells were open and I couldn't eat them. that was very disappointing
