The Twisted Crab - Lynnhaven Mall

I had a terrible experience here at the Twisted Crab. The service was awful, my waitresses name was Rexie and she never came over to check on my table, and I had to keep asking other waiters to get me things. Everytime I saw her she was just on her phone at the bar, and I overheard her talking inappropriately with her coworkers.. it was just very unprofessional and I will not be coming back. Everyone please watch out for this server from hell! I usually love this restaurant but this service was just awful.

I placed a carryout order for carryout. It was easy to order. The food was prepared quickly. I love the boxes they use for carryout. It allows the fried items to breath, thus staying crispy and not getting soggy! Everything was good Catfish, Hushpuppies and Crab boil bag is what we ordered.

I dont won't to twist crabs, I want drink champagne and eat them addictive seafood boil bags, its giving vibe, it's giving good time and great nostalgic memories. It's giving excellent bar tender service. They black women hostess in this restaurant so underrated and very beautiful. Like this restaurant is what love looks like. God bless this location.

We decided against an all you can eat buffet and instead try a seafood boil. Good choice!! We had a lil bit of everything with our order. What stood out were the chicken wings (lemon pepper seasoned) they were fried to perfection and so good! We had the fried shrimp basket with sweet potato fries. Shrimp (8 pieces) and tons of fries! The cranberry lime crush. TASTY!

Our server Madison was super busy but attentive to us and provided excellent service.

I'd recommend to anyone wanted to try something other than a buffet.

Horrible service , they messed up a group work order we were missing food , we had 6 shrimp to a bag . (Poor customer service ) they told us to come back to get it . When we got there , they had closed and the employee was sitting in his car with a female laughing as we asked why would he tell us to come back if he wasn’t gonna accommodate our order , I will be making a complaint and seeing to it tht this employee is terminated. There is no reason to treat customers the way he did & I will put an end to the black dollar being spent at twisted crab if we “African Americans” are gonna be treated unfairly. This is not the first I’ve heard of this and now I have experienced it 😔

Came here with a group of 5 adults and 2 toddlers. Everyone had a great time. The food was great.
