Very cute atmosphere and nice, inviting staff! The coffees are only served in 12 oz cups (hot or iced) and they were very watered down. Not sure if they make their muffins and cookies in-house but they were good, but nothing to write home about. I'm always happy to support local business (esp cute coffee places) and pay a little more than chain places but the coffee should be flavorful and worth the pay.

Very cute local coffee shop but very over priced for what I got. I paid $6 for a chai latte and it was in a 12 oz cup. It was so watered down I could barely taste the chai. Tasted like I was drinking hot water. The staff was very nice and got my beverage very quick. I am so happy to support local businesses and always willing to pay a little more, but I would expect it too be tastier than its chain counterpart considering the lack of corporate touch and putting more "love" into it. I didn't feel the love :/

Ordered and paid for a sandwich that could not be made - ran out of an ingredient. No big deal, it happens. Just refund my purchase right?Wrong. Workers do not have the refund code to enter into the system. “I’m sorry sir, you will have to email Brad to get your money back.” Not ideal, but whatever. Go ahead and email Brad - ghosted.Thats the way you treat your customers? Ignore them? Really?Not worth the hassle.

Think I’ve found my new go to place to sit down and enjoy a coffee here in Virginia.The drip coffee was fantastic, quality flavour profile and as good as any I’ve had at the antipodean coffee shops in London. The pastries were delicious if a touch sugary (I couldn’t finish this one). I didn’t order any other food and I’d request management to consider adding one or two healthy food options to the menu (if there were I didn’t see any).The music played here was so chill, someone has great taste. The decor and vibe are perfect too. And last but definitely not least the coffee came with two free refills. Looking forward to visiting this wonderful coffee spot again.

First time here. I love their coffee , it’s served at Grounded in Newport News. Well I have to say I love ❤️ it! Service was high quality and coffee delicious. Excellent sound track , sorry Grounded you gotta elevate your game music wise.

Three Ships Coffee Roasters' staff are exceedingly helpful and knowledgeable about their own brand of coffee. My preferred choice is their Mocha latte, whether hot or iced. It's incredibly delicious! The atmosphere at the place is a vibe!

Wasn’t a fan. Don’t get me wrong the staff were very friendly. I guess if you’re a hipster and enjoy overpaying for coffee this might be for you.I’m not crazy for Starbucks but I’d rather go there.
Had the best iced latte I've ever had in my life. The flavor was amazing.Also, the person who waited on me was incredibly kind and efficient.Can't wait to come back!

I'm a sucker for coffee, and usually like to frequent the shops unassociated with the big chains. Three Ships popped up in my GPS while visiting VA Beach for my daughter's track meet & it really hit the spot. The Wife & I got their breakfast wrap and it was delicious. We also got an egg and cheese and were surprised how freshly made things were, as there is a bit of a wait before receiving your food. I got a standard Latte and that was good as well. I would definitely stop in again when I'm in town in a few weeks.

I freaking love this place. Spend mornings here when I come back to Virginia Beach to visit family. It's got a nice surfy vibe that I dig and the coffee is bomb. Took a few bags home and the hand pour brew has been on point!
