Tropical Smoothie Cafe

I began a detox and reducing schedule. The service here in the morning is fab! As I rush to the office, my fresh smoothie is available for pickup asap. The workers are pleasant and advise to “Have a good day” once I leave. It’s small pleasant things that I enjoy. This is my favorite smoothie location. Great job guys. My daily smoothies are always delish. Thanks! ☺️

Placed smoothie order, went inside minutes later & it was finished alongside few others. Quickest tropical smoothie around, other ones make it so you don’t want to pay $8 to wait at least ten minutes for a smoothie. Cali breakfast flatbread made w love.

On May 28th I patronized this location. Only to be treated disrespectfully, rude, and unaccommodating by “KATIE”!!! Katie was asked if she could make the smoothie without sugar? And she replied “NO” VERY RUDELY! And did NOT help in any way! KATIE is a DISGRACE to this business. Tropical 🌴 Smoothie always had representatives there that were outgoing and friendly. KATIE is a HAZARD ⚠️ to this business. She needs to get educated on how to assist customers in a professional manner. Terrible 😣 experience!!!! I would give zero stars if I could! Just nasty 🤢

Rude and dismissive staff. Too busy playing on phones( ear buds) or chatting with one another to do work. Was brushed off, order was wrong, and made very uncomfortable for the visit. We will never return to this location.

Cashier wouldn’t get off his phone and had earbuds in, when I repeated my order to him he got annoyed and then it was wrong when I got it. Missed the whole meal I double checked to make sure he heard me. When we complained we were then given mean looks for the entirety of our visit while eating.

White kid checked my $5 but didn't do it for the other white folks. That's crazy food and drink was good tho.

Walked in to order and nobody even greeted me. The guy at the counter just stared at me until I uncomfortably decided to order. The only thing that kid said to me was “what’s your name”. Odd experience.

Took my granddaughter for dinner, but and to leave after just a few mins. It was so cold inside which made it uncomfortable to stay and eat. The food was ice cold when we went to eat which was no surprised with it being so cold inside. I got a buffalo wrap which seemed to have no ranch, and when I asked for some because it looked like it was missing from the wrap I was charged 60 cents.
Seemed like there was no adult supervision which isn't surprising these days, but they were very polite. I've been too the one at red mill commons, it seems to have a better grasp on things.

Just ordered their Jamaican Jerk chicken, taste like the sauce they use come from Taco Bell. On top of that it's bad enough that we buy water, but these guys charge for water. Lol. Bring your water bottle. Just the principal that we buy a $10 lunch then have bring your water.

Usually get great service life at this location and others. Ordered my Thai wrap, have never had it before. It was so dry. I ordered an extra side of sauce, which I did get, however, upon turning the car around to ask for more, cause the wrap was so dry, and the side they gave me was def not enough to cover both halves, I was confronted by a manager who insisted it wasn’t dry cuz she “saw her put it on there”. Ok mam, maybe you did, but it still doesn’t mean it’s not dry, and you were rude about it. I’d just love some extra sauce I already paid for. Is that so hard? I won’t be back to your store. Good luck in life. I included a pic of the detest wrap I’ve ever had to put in my mouth. ?

There are quite a few great people working here. I find it to be the best place for me in the Lynnhaven Mall area, along with the Panera, to study the Bible, Praxis, or write/edit my book. I dont have a car because I'll be moving, otherwise I'd go to the library and other coffee shops more often. And no, not a fan of Starbucks here.

Decided to stop in unsure of what I wanted the nice young man at the counter offered a recommendation of the Chipotle Flatbread and a no longer on menu Dreamsicle like smoothie. I decided to go with his suggestions and was quite pleased with both! Received my order quickly and courteous service. I will go back.
