Tropical Smoothie Cafe

I will never come to this place ever again the sandwich was sloppy, and it was old i took it back they refused to give me a fresh one or refund me .the smoothie tastes like it water down. I will tell everyone I know never go there.

I order a açaí bowl with all strawberries because that’s what I refer and I go to eat it and I see less than 5 of them it’s like their greedy when it comes to the food I also had someone order a Baja chicken wrap and received the buffalo wrap instead of what the ask for.

I only come here sometimes because it’s close to work, but this is one of those locations that skimp on ingredients and sweeteners to save cost, because my smoothies always taste like fruit water even when I sub Splenda. Do better guys !!!

literally have been waiting on a single smoothie for 25 mins. i ask is my smoothie ready multiple times as i watch every single person who came in after me receive full meals and multiple smoothies only to be told “we are still working on it.” i was the only person in the store when i placed my order then once the young lady decided to look into my order she discovers it had been made and placed in the fridge the entire time. unsatisfied with the service i asked for a refund and declined the smoothie only to be told i could not get a refund until the next day (sunday) when the owner is in store. this is bad business and one of the young ladies had the worst attitudes as if i made the the mistake.

Have been coming here now for almost four years, we've been to some of the other tropical smoothie shops around town and hands down this is the best location in terms of quality and consistency of smoothies made, well made hot wraps, courteous staff, and a generally nice/clean location. I believe the owner of this location is frequently on the floor helping out (not 100% sure if he actually is the owner, but his demeanor and leadership would make it appear so, if not hats off to the only non young teen gent working), and I think that's why this location tends to be the best running and all around one we will always opt to go to even if it's out of the way. Speaking of younger staff, the majority of the crew here is in the younger adult category, but they have always been respectful, well groomed and well dressed,and they seem to step up into being a mature and professional group while on shift. Pointing out the age group specifically at this location as they are well put together (in my opinion from leadership differences and setting expectations/an example) which is in stark contrast to the other stores where employees of a similar age group (but also in general) are often nonchalant, seem that they could care less about another human or quality service, hats on sideways, shirts and baggy pants, letting dirty tables and trash over run the place (namely the VB Blvd location in Collins square, food safety violations galore). Mainly pointing this all out 1) to let other customers know that this is the location to pick over the others, but 2) for the staff if they happen to read this so they know their efforts and professionalism are noticed and to keep it up! BZ!

I went to pick up a DoorDash and stood there for 20 minutes while the manager and his team helped everyone else except for me. They all made eye contact t yet they greeted ppl that came in after me and every time I attempted to ask abt the DoorDash order, they would see me and walk away. This is not the first, second, or third time this has happened, but this time, it warranted a review due to the manager setting a bad example for customer service. Everyone should be taken care of with the same courtesy and respect. To be ignored for 20 minutes as a delivery driver is insane. The manager needs to be terminated and the employees need to be re-trained in the basic fundamentals of customer service and what it entails and how it is executed.

Employees eating while preparing food and smoothies. No gloves. When I said something the girl rolled her eyes and said "I'm not making your food." Then continues to eat while staring me down and preparing food. Disgusting and rude.

If you want to work at this place. DO NOT. leo the owner, decided to take my tips away including my credit card tips because i got a new job. They stole from me. Leo as a boss was great at first he seemed nice and was nice to customers, but behind our backs he cursed, yelled at his employees. It’s illegal to take away credit tips under no circumstances. by FALSA. They left me on read when i confronted them about it. So if you’re looking for a first job or a job in general. DO NOT COME TO THIS TROPICAL SMOOTHIE YOU WILL BE STOLEN FROM AND YELLED AT.
