Great meal last night. Started with chicken nachos. Restaurant made chips. Outstanding. I had the BLT. Over half pound of bacon! Wife had burger and son had chicken sandwich. Both said delicious. House made bread pudding for desert. Could not finish. Service was excellent. Great beers on tap. Very good prices as well. Very friendly place!!

This place was unbelievably disappointing. The food was bland and arrived cold, and we ended up waiting nearly an hour just to get our checks. It honestly felt like we were being held hostage. The checks were incorrect twice, which only dragged things out even longer. Our server was condescending and rude when I expressed we had been waiting too long to get our checks.
We had a 6 PM reservation and didn’t get out until almost 9 PM. It took forever to get our meals and even longer to settle the bill. By the end, we were beyond ready to leave. Terrible food, terrible service, we will absolutely never be back.

Place still crushing the food. Union wings are banging. Deviled eggs are off the chain!! Darrell is a great server, knowledgeable on everything. Don't miss a VB staple!

A very pleasant dining experience. Both the food and staff were a delight to interact with. The decorations were absolutely beautiful for the holiday season.
Our server, Durrel, was very welcoming and a joy to have tending to us during our meal. Will definitely be coming back here soon!

Darrell H was fantastic! My husband and I moved away from VB 3 years ago and came back for a visit and had to stop in at Union Ale House. It was just as wonderful as we remembered.

Outstanding Experience at Union Ale House!
The food was absolutely exceptional — both my smash burger and my husbands wings were full of flavor and perfectly prepared. What really made the experience stand out, though, was our waiter, Dorrell. He was incredibly attentive, polite, and provided truly exceptional service from start to finish. It’s rare to find that combination of amazing food and top-notch hospitality, but Union Ale House delivers on both. Thank you Dorrell for a great experience. Highly recommend!

This is another staple in VB that l've visited many times before. They used to have an amazing brunch that's sadly discontinued : so we decided to try them out for a nice casual dinner and the flavors were beyond what we could have hoped for. Our server was attentive and quick to help us find recommendations. We ordered their beer battered fish and chips that came out fresh and crispy! That's the best combo. The other entree we ordered was the black and bleu burger (I'm a huge bleu cheese lover) and the crumbles added the perfect contrast with the savory patty. Also, those sweet potato fries are to die for and I couldn't stop eating them! We went on Friday when they had live music, so it created a nice cozy feel for really anyone that wants an enjoyable night out with some good eats!

Liquor is very pricey. $13.00 for an average Old Fashioned.

We used to absolutely love it. It seems every time we come the menu changes and the customer service declines. There used to be more gluten free options and we loved the nachos. They are no longer gluten free. Being in the restaurant industry all our lives customer service is in our blood. It’s a bummer when it seems we are a burden spending our money somewhere.
