Place is fun inside and even has a unique game room. The service was decent. The only downfall, and this is a biggy, is that the food was absolutely not worth the price. The wife and I are foodies. I'm actually ranked in the top 10% of food reviewers in my area. That being said, the food here tasted frozen/bad. Pasta was drowned in sauce. The appetizer was burnt. The Poke Bowl was the bright spot of what we ordered, but it even had a flaw. It is what you might call a deconstructed poke bowl, and the menu does not elaborate on this. It was tasty, though. I would recommend like 50 other restaurants in Hampton roads over this one.

Edit* After my initial 3 start rated review, the company replied with a sarcastic/ passive-aggressive reply. I did not edit the review. It is paragraph one. Just know that the level of professionalism you're going to run into at this establishment is even worse than i imagined. After this little gem, I'd recommend -any restaurant- in Hampton roads over this place.

Christian the bartender was great made the experience five stars. Burata burger lacked seasoning but definitely palatable. Otjer options definitely thrived before

First time visiting Union Ale House and tried the braised short rib tacos that were suggested by Bry. They were very good and the grilled lime complimented them well. The food was great, as was the service by Bry. Will be back in the near future!

This place is so tastefully decorated! And that says something coming from a real estate agent and staging aficionado). If the atmosphere doesn't make you appreciate this establishment, the service that Caitlyn offered and the amazing food propared by their kitchen will! So excited I discovered this place!!!

Tried a new restaurant on vacation this week with some unique offerings like a PB & J burger and fried deviled eggs. Food was yummy & Denise our server was friendly and attentive!
