Overall NORMALLY village inn VA BEACH is awesome ….. no issues. But when I went on 4/13- smh… food was horrible and rushed. Ended up not sending my food back and not reordering because of that experience
Awesome.Fluffiest and lightest 2-egg omelet ever. So delish. I like the 4 item easy pick. The tea is southern sweet and the staff is amazingly efficient and friendly. Their pies are so delicious.

The food is average however the cost of a glass of ice tea at 3.49 is outrageous and you have lost a customer and I have told all my friends and anyone who mentions your restaurant and written to the local newspaper and requested that they print my letter and complaint on the front page

1st time going with husband. We were there around 7 pm on a Thursday night. Not a lot of people at all. We were sat given menus. Someone came up and said waitress would be with us shortly and took our drink orders. Waitress came over not long after she was friendly took our orders. The food I ordered was not good. The strawberries with the crepes tasted like green peppers. I tried more than 1 to make sure it was just a fluke. The crepes themselves were too thick more like a pancake. The bacon was under the strawberry juice that was put around the crepe instead of on it. The hashbows also were cold and then had the strawberry juice on them as well. I didn't finish anything. Husband asked for syrup for his pancakes and waitress forgot until he pushed aside the pancakes and she came over and asked if she could clear some of the plates and asked if we wanted dessert. My husband then again asked for syrup with she brought finally. She did apologize for forgetting about it. But after he had asked for the syrup the 1st time she was too busy talking and flirting with the dad and kid in a corner booth to actually care for our table properly. When most of the food is still on my plate she took it without asking if anything was wrong. I am hoping this is a one off and will be trying again but if I get the same type of service I will not be back. The servers need to remember they have more than 1 table.

Great place for breakfast. I'm sure lunch and dinner are good too, but I just get breakfast there regardless of the times I visit. Always friendly staff, food is hot and fresh. Clean and well managed

Disappointed in the service this morning. We asked for ketchup & syrup from waitress. 15 minutes later asked another server who brought it over. However by the time we received the ketchup and syrup our food was cold. She had no issues bring the bill and putting it on the table with the food. Asked for soft bacon but received burnt bacon, reminded the waitres I asked for soft bacon. She brings me sausage. Again I told her soft bacon. For us the food was good but the service was not good. Also there was yelling coming from the kitchen.
