Our experience was good. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was conservative. We ordered the shrimp tempura roll, fire cracker, monster, and super duper rolls which were delicious.Service was decent for a Friday night. We were sat down and waited a little bit (about 10 mins) before ordering which is why they got 3 out of 5 stars.

Everything was amazing! Been looking for a good neighborhood sushi place after living at the beach a few years and this one takes the cake. The waitresses were sooo attentive and nice even in their rush hour. Sushi was very fresh and miso soup had great flavor. Will definitely be returning :)

Nice quiet place with fast service and a peaceful atmosphere. The music was a blend of cultural pieces with top 40's played at just the right volume to keep conversations at the table they were being had at.The sashimi was melt in your mouth fresh, and every dish served was a work of art.The server was fast and attentive but not intrusive.Very nice place to go solo, with family or on a date. I will return.

Came here for lunch one day for the first time and tried it out by ordering the bento box. Everything tasted delicious. Only thing I was not a fan of was the salad, it was a little too heavy on the dressing and i was not expecting the taste of it. But, I would def come back here again and order everything else. I did have miso soup as well and that tasted very delicious as well. Service was pretty good. Waitress was kind. The place overall was clean and relaxing to sit and enjoy a meal.

Better than most if not all in VB. They have chu toro, scallop and conch. Didn't love all the roll combos as there's an obsession with crab salad. But overall decent menu and solid options. For VB 4.5 stars. Wouldn't last 5 minutes in a city with good sushi options but I'll take it.
Always great sushi. We do takeout often and they are quick for pickup.

I like the sushi here better than anywhere else I've had it in va beach or even in larger cities like DC. I've never had better. The service is great and it's obvious that the owners take pride in their craft. Great atmosphere as well. You won't be disappointed

Went here on vacation and exclusively ate off the vegetarian menu. EVERYTHING was good - specifically the peanut and eel sauce roll. Portion sizes were a bit smaller than what you might be used to, but the prices were reasonable and it was delicious. If you’re nearby, absolutely give it a try.

i’m only giving it 2 stars because the customer service was good and the hibachi portion size was good but the food was very bland. i had to use so much soy sauce and yum yum sauce to make it taste better. the “fried” rice was NASTY and it only had two pieces of corn in it? i never had fried rice with corn in it but it was so nasty there was no flavor at all! i got the chicken & shrimp hibachi and they weren’t that seasoned either, the teriyaki sauce and yum yum sauce saved it. our server was new but he was nice :)
