I loved this store, it's a nice small little Walmart that has great deals. But I recently had a horrible experience there and that is why I am writing This review. Today I was in the store and I decided to buy a stress ball, I went back in the car and as I got in the car I started squeezing it. But after a minute or two of squeezing it the ball decided to pop, I was in a suit with dress pants and a dress shirt and it was spilling all over me. Me and one of my friends went inside to tell the manager, the manager was very kind and he took us to customer service. After the manager left it to customer service though they were very unprofessional, we wanted my dress pants which at this point the slime she had soaked into cleaned on Walmart's expense. They asked for our phone number and we asked for theirs, they refunded us the money but still they wouldn't pay for my pants to be cleaned. I don't normally leave reviews but this time I decided to because of how bad the service was. I am leaving two stars instead of one because this is the only bad experience I have had, I hope those looking at this review can benefit from it.

This is a very friendly and well stocked Neighborhood Walmart. I would like to thank all of the staff for always being so helpful when help is needed. Also a shoutout to the men and women who collect the carts outside. Thanks for doing your job great!

Well I like this store of course it is new they just recently built it and it is a very clean store and the people who work here seem very friendly. There is a bakery when you enter the store and in the back there are also items that are not food-related that you can get for really good deals and they always have new items so definitely check back you can get some good Bargains here and the food prices of course are very good as well. They keep the prices low and you can purchase your own bags at the checkout but it's not expensive and you can bring your own bags back the next time I discovered the store a long time ago when I was in Germany and I go to the ones over there as well so it's nice to see them in Virginia Beach I think you should check the store out and you might like it. The only thing is it is not huge like some other food stores as far as the food goes but they do have a lot of nice things and what they do have is really good prices so I would recommend at least trying and checking it out.

Located literally right down the street from Lidl, so I love to come here for my brand goods without being put out of a grocery shopping mood. Being that it's a neighborhood market, there's a lot more focus on food so you have a better chance of finding food items you won't regularly find in a Walmart. My only problem is it seems some foods are a higher cost in comparison to Walmart...investigation still open though. There are lot of self checkout lanes, which is convenient to most, but not all. Options are plentiful and they are typically stocked up or in the process of stocking. Employees are kind.

I fell in love with Lidl the first week of their grand opening on Holland Rd. All the samples and friendly staff and of course the amazing prices! Ever since then, the only thing that I look forward to is the prices. The friendliness is gone. Matter of fact, I usually only see the two cashiers now adays. I usually go on sundays during football so picture this...me with a week load of groceries on the conveyer belt with a long line of customers waiting their turn behind me because there is only ever two checkout lines open. Now you know they don't have baggers so I'm trying to pay and bag allllll of my groceries by myself while the cashier only speaks to me to tell me my total and continues checking out the person behind me who doesn't have quite as much stuff. Now yes, they do have two conveyer belts so someone can bag their groceries while the cashier checks out a second person. However, the unfriendly cashiers who only hold conversations over their headset mic, is looking at you now like you're slowing them down. It feels like a race. I miss the new welcoming Lidl.

I have been coming here for groceries since they opened. It's right around where my parents live and so it has been convenient to stop in when I'm in the area. Parking is plentiful. I always find parking up close. The carts are always put away and not found scattered throughout the lot. Upon entering you'll find a brightly lit store, clean and tidy. Most times there's staff stocking which means you'll always have what you go there for. I've never been disappointed. I love that although they do not have a meat and deli personal, they still do have hot rotisserie chickens available. Lines are usually short and I can get in and out in a very reasonable amount of time.

I think I like LIDL too much in general. I know. Not the worst thing right. Every week the current specials can be viewed in store in the circular or online. BONUS you can see next weeks specials in advance which is helpful when planning shopping trips. No surprises. The produce prices and quality are great. I've had to return a few items here and the staff have great attitudes, good customer service experiences. I just wish you would RETURN YOUR CARTS. It makes selecting a parking spot a pain!

If only they had self check-outs! I really enjoy utilizing this place for all my grocery shopping needs more so than I do anywhere else; like Walmart and Target or Aldi. I found it interesting to know that they are the competitor to Aldi which is also a German-based company. The stores are also very easy to navigate and it's nice that they have a customer restroom to for those times that you "need to go" to the bathroom in the middle of you're shopping experience; heck Aldi doesn't allow that. I really enjoyed most looking at all the gadgets and home furnishings and different products they have other than food at the stores it's actually something I look forward to when shopping here, just being able to see all the different things is so much fun. Sometimes I even I like to do what I to call Lidi hopping from store to store trying to find a product that one store doesn't have in stock. The only thing I don't like about the store and the same goes for Aldi as well. Is for a store that is all about the customer and cheap prices why don't they allow you to have a self check out? I can't remember how many times being in the stores where the line wraps around an isle and there's only one or two registers open imagine if they had a self check out you could bag your own groceries and be out quicker than the workers there working. I've only seen maybe a few select stores that are brand new that have self checkouts but why not have at least one or two in all of the stores? **Overall** it's a really great shopping experience I have no complaints about it whatsoever other than not being able to have a self check out on the grocery but anything is better than Aldi right! Honestly, the lighting in here is so appealing to the eye! This has become my new grocery store as of lately & I love it. Though there are some things that seem a little pricey, they have extremely good prices on everything! I like that there are some brand name items so I don't have to pick up much on my second stop (for some on brand items). They also have items you wouldn't be able to find elsewhere that I love to try. The employees are always working hard and there's never much backup at the cash register. Would be great for them to invest in a parking lot cart spot.

Although I prefer Neighborhood Markets over regular Wal-Marts, I am not a big fan of this particular location. Most of the staff are quite unfriendly and look unhappy. The dairy and juices sections are usually understocked or not stocked at all. Produce is an absolute no-go here as well, but thankfully there's a Lidl right down the street. I have also witnessed quite a bit of racial profiling at this location, which is definitely not something that I care for. I would recommend going to another store and choose this location as a last resort.
I'm obsessed with this place , the quality is so high and the prices, well .. you wilI have to see it for yourself to believe . I'm so thankful the open in our area !

My introduction to this store left a lot to be desired. I'd never been to a Lidl before and went on a Thursday during the middle of the day with a buddy and upon nearing the outer doors there was an extremely strong chemical odor that was very off putting. We both noticed it while standing outside the front doors. The obnoxious chemical smell was so overpowering that despite making a list of things to get, I literally just grabbed only one item and made a beeline for the checkout and waited in the car. I don't care how good the deals could be and I won't be back if I can't breathe remotely clean air while shopping. I hope this was just a one time thing but the employees carried on as if this strong odor is the norm there.

And although I do not do my FULL grocery list shopping here I do and can get the majority of it and with home decor and a lot of extra things too! Very clean. Large parking lot. Quick lines. Make sure to bring your own bags or reusable totes!

This place is located on Holland Road near Ships Corner. If someone else doesn't have it, they do. When coming here, I know exactly what I want and I don't have trouble on locating my items. I do have an issue with a lot of the registers being self checkout. I sometimes have a lot of produce, it's sometimes time consuming to look up every item.
