A laid back place for pizza and of course beers

Parker and company did their thing. We appreciated the hospitality very much.

Staff is... Assertive (not in a bad way)?! But felt welcomed and welcome. Good beers. Felt they missed on the Festbier, which is disappointing given the German name... But the Kentucky common was really nice.

Couldn’t even wait to take the pick lol. That’s how awesome their selection is. Such a great place in VA Beach for a beer and amazing pizza. Grayson was super helpful and nice hooking me up with a keg rental. Ozzy was such a great host and super knowledgeable about the beer selection. Great conversation and great Customer Service. Absolutely love this place and d I’ve had the pleasure of meeting the owners and they are such special people. Love IT

Wasserhund used to have phenomenal pizza (crust snd sauce seasoning was amazing, good cheese, quality toppings) I’m not sure what happened. I’ve tried it a few times in the last couple years just to be sure it’s a fluke, but they’ve definitely changed it sometime post Covid. Not sure if it’s the just the cheese or the crust seasoning (they barely ever put sauce on it so it’s definitely not that) but something has an odd aftertaste and the texture is unpleasant. And they have a tendency to either overbake the crust till it’s chewy and hard or underbake it, there is no in between. Really bummed, this used to be our go to take out for weekly movie nights and birthdays.

Rating it 3 stars because the brats and beer are decent. Patio atmosphere is pretty nice for dining in. Staff is usually pleasant, sometimes service can take a while. I know some people mention the cost but honestly seems pretty reasonable relative to similar establishments. Sucks about the pizza!

Adorable and great beer!

I recently visited and while they’re known for their impressive beverage offerings, I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was as well. The pizza was incredibly fresh and delicious—definitely a highlight of the visit.

However, the menu was a bit overwhelming. It’s organized around different pedigrees of dogs, which isn’t the most intuitive system for new customers. It took a little longer to decide what to order because of this quirky theme.

That said, the service was exceptional. Our server was friendly and had a great demeanor, which added to the overall experience. His attention to detail and welcoming attitude really stood out.

All in all, I’d recommend. The food and drinks are worth it, and despite the menu’s complexity, I’d absolutely return.

I don’t drink so I can’t comment on the beer but I always make sure to stop in for a pizza (Rottweiler is my favorite) whenever I’m visiting the area. As a fellow German Shepherd parent, the vibe, decor, and merch is the best! Always appreciate seeing gluten free and vegan options on menus too. Friendly staff, dog friendly patios, delicious food - love it!

Staff are friendly and informative. Food is amazing and so is their beer! Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Fantastic experience. Was great... And then Kayla showed up, pregnant and everything. Did everything she could possibly do to make our stay great. She even taught my dumb friend calculus. I can't say enough great things about KAYLA! She was awesome! Wasseehund should be so proud to have her and pay her an amazing salary!

Hey u can bring your dog and eat pizza. The beer is top tier. That beer so good, u get drunk looking at it.

Awesome small / local place. We always enjoy trying new places and this place surely didn't disappoint! We had several shared appetizers and a flight or 2. Will definitely be back next time we are in VA Beach again!
