Just left Waterman’s Waterman's Surfside Grille in VA Beach. Heard good things. Worst service I’ve ever had. Ever. Sat at the bar for dinner as I do when I dine alone. The bartender Ashley talked to her friends all night and never took my plates away, I had an empty glass for over 30 minutes. I tried to make eye contact, get her attention, nothing. Asked for a dessert menu and she never came back to take my order but asked her friend what she wanted for dessert 20 minutes after she gave me the dessert menu. People remember how you make them feel. If I want to feel ignored I don’t go to a restaurant. First and last time.

Cost and portion sizes are the reason I gave this a four overall. That and I don't like when the bottom tip offering is 20% or more. When your bill is over $200 for four and the tip is more than you make. I guess we'll have to stop eating out.

This is my new favorite restaurant in Virginia Beach. Location, ambiance, over-the-top service, and most of all, great food. Good choice for any occasion. Tony is an exceptional server.
We dined here twice while on vacation. The food was great and the service top notch! The location is wonderful and we really enjoyed watching the kite surfers. Really nice, laid-back vibe!

Went there for the Easter buffet. Reservations suggested. My friend got there before I did. When I got there, gave my name, said I had a res, was told to look around to find my friend. There were 4 girls at the hostess stand. Also, ordered a mimosa. Not in a flute but in like a water glass. Was not fizzy. I've had food from Waterman's a lot and was underwhelmed for Easter Brunch. Will go back in the future, but probably never for brunch.

We ate here 3 nights during our 1 week stay. Every meal was cooked to perfection, hot when delivered to our table and so delicious! Our 3 waitresses were amazing….friendly and efficient! Would highly recommend Waterman’s!
My favorite restaurant in Virginia Beach! The bacon wrapped scallops are the best I’ve ever had!! The fish tacos - just wow! I’ve gone here 2x already and everything I have ordered has been phenomenal!! Great friendly staff as well!
