They’re never open the times they are suppose to . I come up here everyday after their open and they never here

Food was amazing and well portioned. I had the turkey wings and as my little brother would say “it was bussing”?

Stopped in for lunch today during work and the food was FANTASTIC. Fish was perfect, chicken wings were seasoned and crispy, the Mac and cheese tasted homemade and the yams made me tear up they were so good. Of course had to get a slice of sweet potato pie for dessert which was also amazing. First time eating here but definitely won’t be my last cause I just found my new favorite spot. Also the ladies and gentleman behind the counter were kind as can be. I’ll be telling all of my friends about this place!

Says hours updated 7 days ago, but still says “opening soon” on website. No number to even call to verify. Previous reviews indicate they have terrible appreciation for their customers when it comes to making sure their hours are up to date or at least a number is available to ensure someone is working before driving over. Extremely disappointed

Online doesn't match their actual hours. Drove across town 3 times. Even their door hours aren't correct. Went to the website it says opening soon... confused and beyond irritated. Just wish businesses would take customers in consideration

This place is located in a tiny strip mall near Green Run HS. Go there, seek this place out. The menu is always changing because they are cooking with what is fresh. Soul food standards: fried chicken wings, meatloaf, fish, pork chops, and all the good sides. I just happened to drive by, saw the sign that said "What's Granny Cooking" and I had to find out. Walked in and was instantly greeted with the most delightful smiles and I felt like family (in a good way, not that borrow money and never pay it back kind of way).The food was so good. I had the fish dinner, seasoned well, cooked to perfection, and the portion size was generous to say the least. I had 2 dinners for the price of one. Mac & cheese was on point. Greens were really good. Sweet potatoes, if you know, you know. Go hungry. Go there now.

The best soul food I’ve had since I moved to VA Beach. The people who work here are amazing and great costumer service ❤️Love ya!

My brother is doing it the right way ?; them greens, yams, and Mac and cheese are the truth! All the Main dishes are outstanding as well. This is a must for all that like good soul food done the right way!!!

First time going 5/15 and the food was ok i tried a little bit of everything on the menu ill go back for what i did like ❤️?

Everything was amazing definitely one of the best soul food places in the 757. Everyone was so nice and even let us try samples.
