Whiskey Kitchen

My wife passed a major RN exam, and we were driving by and said, let’s go there, Whiskey Kitchen! We came on a Thursday around 1500ish, not a lot of people. Our first interaction was with Scott; he set the tone of our simply amazing evening filled with laughter and none-stop fun. Scott said we could sit anywhere; we chose a booth on the window side. Scott came and took our drink selection and our appetizers; this is when the laughter really started. We were brought a dish we didn’t order and that is how we met Tyreek, who is the sous Chief and downright awesome as well. Because of this slight mix up, we then met Megan at the same time, all at once, we have Scott or (scooter), Tyreek, and Megan.

I wish the rest of this country were like Scott, Tyreek, or Megan, they have class and are professional and with a touch of humor that creates an atmosphere of a warm welcoming environment!

My wife and I will be coming back many times, of course only to see Scott, Tyreek, and Megan. They made our date night remarkable!

Food was amazing! We got the short rib special (please bring back as a regular menu item!!!), pork chops, old fashions, and the chocolate cake. The chocolate cake was to die for. Jordan was our server and she took great care of us. Will be returning. Please never run out of the chocolate cake and again PLEASE bring back short rib as a regular menu item

Really good food. Not like a 5 star restaurant. But. The food here is more family style and it's really good and I wouldn't hesitate to take a child there and have dinner they have food for all ages. Elsa have a good bar🥂

Whiskey kitchen never disappoints. A great variety of menu items (never pass on the cauliflower). Lots of local beers and the service is excellent. Call ahead or enjoy the bar area while you wait. Really liked having the lacrosse game on. If you want the key lime pie, order early, they go quickly

Staff is very pleasant, food is great and enjoyed the atmosphere. Had a great time enjoying our friends, food and talking. Always a great time here, highly recommend it. Great choice in foods and drinks!

Easily one of my favorite restaurants in Virginia Beach and a place I go back to again and again! I’ve tried various things on their menu and it’s all delicious. Drinks are great too. Highly recommend!

Visited on Christmas Eve and the wait was not too long and the food was delicious. Thank you for making our holiday enjoyable! The Korean BBQ ribs and wings were tasty. All of our food was great. Will definitely come again.

I'm so glad we tried this out. We were going to a movie nearby and saw a vegan menu item. You can change any burger to Beyond plus they have a black bean wrap. Highly recommend.

Came back after my first attempt (weeks ago) at having dinner here. Drove for over an hour and don’t regret it one bit. Totally recommend scheduling in advance. The restaurant doesn’t oficially take reservations but you can call. I had the yummiest sangria, it was seasonal, it tasted like apple pie. Food plates were yummy, we shared everything and left feeling satisfied. Ambience was good, more sporty and family friendly.

My husband and I used to dine here years ago and just haven’t made it back until today. Fantastic lunch and quick service. Surprised to see it so slow on a Saturday but lucky for us! The Colorado salad (added tuna) and She Crab soup were delicious and my husband had the Korean BbQ ribs for an app which melted off the bone. Super pleased with our visit. Will be back again!
