Their “specialty pizza” is just… awful. I can’t really describe how bad it was, but it wasn’t good pizza at all. I don’t know what the hell they got going on in Chicago but this is bad. I guess you get a deep dish when you go here. I got a thin crust pizza and it tasted like it came out of a drunk frat house kitchen at 3 AM. Like it tastes that bad. I’m telling you folks do not get the specialty pizza here.

I've only been to Chicago once years ago. And I ate a few dogs of course. And they were amazing. This place did remind of the hot dog i had there. It was really tasty. It came with an the fixings on a soft bun. The dog had a decent snap. And the flavor was on point. I believe they were all beef. The two for 9.99 is your best deal. Because one is not enough. The gyro is also delicious. And the chicken parm sandwich is massive. I say eat it while it's hot. But he careful out will fall apart on you. And the wings were the only thing i was not that impressed with. They were cooked well. And were s decent size. But the flavor wasn't there for me. But we will be back for another dog. And probably a pizza puff. Either way I say give them a go. The people are friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. It's a cool little spot. I don't think you'll be disappointed. If you are, forget I said anything.

It does take a long time to make (which is any deep dish) so order ahead of time or you’re gonna sit for while.

Ordered the deep dish. They didn't cut it. I called to ask why and they said they stopped cutting the deep dish pizzas. You have to request it. Never heard of a pizza place not cutting pizzas. And the last time I picked up, both people up front walked to the back once I walked in, then came back out a minute later, with barely a greeting. So, if you decide to order from here, make sure they cook it and put it in a box.

Just called to place an order and they picked the phone up, and slammed it down. I try to support small business, just moved to the area.

I got a deep dish pizza. Tastes good, but apparently they don’t cut them unless specifically requested and I had no idea. I’m traveling and got back to my hotel with a flimsy plastic knife. Come on guys, you should offer to cut the pizza.

I had no problem driving 45 minutes to to get food from your restaurant so when I just got recooked fries and a dried up sandwich I felt like I was done with you. Hope this is a tax right off.

If you order the deep dish be prepared to wait. They tell you 45 but it might be more like an hour. Worth the wait unless you are dead famished. Service was good, atmosphere was whatever.

My wife and I had been craving a deep dish pizza for some time. Windy City was recommended and it is close to where we live.
We had the the Southside Special. It was WONDERFUL. It was everything we'd hoped for and more. Maddy, our waitress answered our questions quite well and made some good recommendations. Her service was timely and efficient.
Downsides: hard wooden seats aren't comfortable for sitting for long periods of time. The background music wasn't of our taste. It was annoying and did distract from the experience. With those issues in mind, and how great the pizza was, we'll definitely be ordering take out from them.
