“Stopped here on a whim as we were leaving Virginia Beach and we were so glad we did. Loved the food. We had the shrimp and grits and our son had the pancakes. That was the best shrimp and grits my husband and I have had . Our 17 year old said his pancakes were the best he had ever had. And if you want coffee, they have the BEST!!!! Atmosphere is amazing. All the staff were friendly, and very helpful. Get there early before the doughnuts sell out. Purchased doughnuts for the road and let me say, you will not be disappointed. We will definitely be going back when we return in July. Everyone needs to try this place. It is so worth it!!!!“

“Heirloom is always a delight, and tonight, as we celebrated our wedding anniversary, was no exception! The watermelon gazpacho amuse-bouche was a sweet start to the meal, followed by Oysters on the Half shell (a personal favorite), and the appetizer special of Peach Burrata salad was lovely. The true star, however, had to be the Black Sea Bass, which was butterflied and grilled, served over rice and vegetables. The sauce had a gentle smokiness to it that built to a perfect lingering flavor that complimented the gentle grilling style extremely well! I was lucky to be one of the first privileged to try it. Crème brûlée for dessert was the perfect completion to the meal. We left feeling very happy, and VERY full! Thank you to your incredible team, who take such wonderful care of us, as well as every customer dining tonight, and every night. Hats off to Heirloom!“

They host a variety of fun events from creative workshops to drag bingo and dancing lessons. Maria gives back to the community by allowing a grief support group to use a private room in her winery free of charge on the 1st Friday of every month. If you are lucky you might get to meet Thunder, the sweetest fur baby. Support local & go get a bottle of wine (or 3) to share with friends, you won't regret it.“
