Always better then buffets! And same price or less
Great atmosphere.
Beautiful restaurant that combines quality and flavor for amthe best price in town. My family loves this place, our go to.
I decided to give Yama a try bc my usual go to sushi place was closed for lunch and that ended up being a big mistake. I ordered spicy fire chicken, 4 piece salmon sushi, and a dream roll. The fish looked absolutely terrible and tasted terrible I couldn’t even finish my meal. The fire chicken wasn’t spicy at all. My salmon didn’t look appetizing or fresh. The sushi tasted like sushi you get at an all you can eat restaurant. Not good. Sad I wasted all that money.

Absolutely the best dinner experience I've ever had! The environment was absolutely amazing. We had a party and the area they sat us in was so perfect. Everything from appetizers, to the entree, and desert was so delicious and beautiful. Service was amazing. They even had a live piano player which was excellent. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a special night out. Thank you YamaChen for a great night.
Very friendly, good food, great vibes!
I love Yama chens! They brought out edamame, spring rolls , and cheesecake bites on the house when I went for dinner! Great sushi, and clean atmosphere!
Very nice sushi with a few vegan options. The staff was very friendly too.
Fresh and relatively good taste, had not had octopus which is a favorite, cut up in minced sized portions wrapped in seaweed. In this I was disappointed! Most of these Sushi restaurants, are not run by Japanese, but Chinese or Koreans. I suppose one gets honest Japanese sushi, from a Japanese run establishment.
Next time I’ll ask they run my octopus through a blender or purée it first! Yummy stuff!

Though waiting on refills for drinks was a bit exasperating, finally had to call attention to it from the wait staff.
I had the Hawaii roll and Golden Shrimp roll,
my partner had Fire Chicken.
I've eaten a lot of sushi and have never has it made with Marin (sweet rice vinegar) just didn't taste right.
Made it right.
Sushi was horrible. Multiple plates left uneaten. One waitress. Was scurrying but could not keep up
Very flavorful sushi and very generous with included appetizers for parties of 2 or more. Very quick and kind staff! Affordable as well.
The food was spit it out in your napkin bad, not one thing we ordered tasted right. The service and atmosphere was great but the food was just no

My husband and I used to eat here every paycheck for over 2yrs. This year our money has been tight so we only order when we “splurge”. The last few times, the food has really gone downhill. The rolls are bland, I can make better sushi rice at home, fish didn’t taste fresh either! After our order last night, it’s the last time we’re going buying anything at YamaChen. The restaurant should be ashamed of themselves for their current food quality. Look at the amount of fish on the earthquake roll!
