Our favorite date night in spot! We just ate in for the first time and they were so sweet. Fast service and beautiful presentation. We loved the complimentary spring rolls and cheesecake. Highlight of our week. Would absolutely recommend for dining in! And we were gifted a cute little piggy bank, that was so nice! 💕

It was a little toasty inside, I imagine the AC went down.

With that being said, the food was very good and the service was outstanding. All that with prices to make us want to come back. Great job

Incredibly kind and generous staff! We are from out of town and stopped in for a quick sushi lunch. Immediately, we were warmly greeted and given a small portion of complimentary edamame, which was a nice surprise. The sushi combo specials make it super easy to get a few different rolls for a good price, so we got 2 of those to share 4 rolls, which also came with salad (delicious ginger dressing btw). Everything had a very generous portion. Then the gifts kept on coming - a complimentary order of veggie spring rolls which were fantastic, and 2 small pieces of cheesecake upon getting our bill. We got a TON of food for a very good price, and it was all amazing quality! Needless to say, we needed a box for take away. I can't recommend this place enough! Thank you to the whole staff for a lovely experience!

The sushi is amazing-as well as the appetizers. Service is perfect and the restaurant is gorgeous!! A must when visiting VA Beach!!

If you’re looking for great Sushi this is your place. Sushi and Spring Rolls were the best I have ever eaten. The friendly service was top notch as well. Can’t recommend this enough.

Man this place was so worth it I highly recommend it to anyone who really loves quality and wickedly delicious premium sushi. Yesterday I went to eat there for dine in the first time. I fell in love with the place as soon as I walked in, I have been eating takeout from this place all the time And it never fails to impress us! Oh and if you order more than four rolls I think you get a sushi pool served to you. This was like the first time I ever had that too 👌😎

Absolutely the best dinner experience I've ever had! The environment was absolutely amazing. We had a party and the area they sat us in was so perfect. Everything from appetizers, to the entree, and desert was so delicious and beautiful. Service was amazing. They even had a live piano player which was excellent. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a special night out. Thank you YamaChen for a great night.

I joined a coworker at YamaChen's for a lunch meal and was quite pleased with the outcome. We found the location to be uniquely decorated with a cozy and upbeat vibe. The menu had ample choices and we finally settled on a sushi boat, a specialty roll, some miso, and sampled other items. Everything was fresh and quite delicious. I was impressed with the quantity and the presentation of the dishes. I also must applaud the staff on the super friendly and prompt service. It made me feel so warmly welcomed, which is rare and appreciated. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for good value, great service, and yummy eats. I will certainly return to explore more on their menu.
