Torbreck Semillon (750ml bottle)
2010 Woodcutter's Semillon: Fashioned with the savoury, food friendly dry whites of Southern France in mind, the Woodcutter's Semillon is the ideal tonic after a long day in the vineyard. Medium bodied with a pristine lemon hue this youthful Semillon offers delicate scents of calamansi, limestone, candle wax, and toasted brioche. The copper-pink skins of this robust, age-old ‘Madeira Clone' flesh out the palate, lending notes of almond kernels, soft pineapple, roasted cashew and white peach. Underlying notes of citrus oil and minerals maintain the wines freshness whilst a crisp spine of razor-like acidity neatly lace together the finish. Although beautifully enjoyable in its youth with sashimi and fresh shellfish this wine will continue to increase in complexity with time and should provide compelling drinking over the coming years. VARIETAL: 100% Semillon (Predominantly Madeira Clone) SUB-DISTRICTS: Kalimna & Rowland Flat HARVEST: 15th February – 12th March 2010 ÉLEVAGE: Fruit from both vineyards (split into four separate parcels) was handpicked and gently ‘whole bunch' pressed to individual vats where they were left to settle. After 24 hours the younger blocks were racked to tank whilst the older more robust parcels were transferred to 6 year old French barriques where they underwent a long cool fermentation. The various components were later ‘assembled' prior to bottling in November 2010.
Daou Rose Wine (1.5 L)
100% Grenache. This wine of Grenache offers up vivid yet delicate aromatics of fresh peach and vanilla with honeysuckle, mock orange, hyacinth and ginger notes. Secondary layers contribute subtle hints of apricot, lilac and Damask rosé. Juicy and crisp on the palate, bursting with a swirl of nectarine, strawberry, watermelon and peach cobbler flavors. These are accentuated with mandarin orange, tangerine and lemon curd. This wine finishes long and clean, leaving the taste and texture of freshly sliced peaches dominating with an underscoring of chocolate dipped strawberries and a touch of honey.

Queiron Mi Lugar - 750ml Bottle
Mi Lugar was created as a shining tribute to the tradition which the Pérez Cuevas family has been working to restore. The wine of Quel: genuine, proud and noble comes from a selection of small plots where only the best grapes are harvested and delivered to the winery of Queirón, which represents the ninth cave in a neighborhood full of Dionysus worshippers. A structure that stands as an homage to the traditional and hardworking townsfolk of Quel, immortalized through the words of the poet Don Manuel in his poem "Mi Lugar", or "My Place".

Liquor
Cipriani Bellini Cocktail (750ml bottle)
A sweet and soft aperitif in which the velvety flavor of strictly white peaches blends with the vivacity of Prosecco, giving life to a cocktail that is a riot of life, both for the eyes and for the palate. Have eaten here many times over the last 4 years. We have had good experiences and some that were just OK. The food i is always great the whole fish preparation, in particular never disappoints Our server was attentive and very friendly. The menu has been slightly steam lined over the years and this is a good thing. Its a small kitchen and concentrating on doing a few things with quality ingredients is always a win. You cannot beat the wine selection

We were pleasantly surprised at the responsive service provided by Angel. The food was better than our last visit. Our dishes were bolognese (which was superior) and scallops with risotto, also very tasty. The manager and owner came to check on us throughout our meal. It was an exceptional visit.

Our dinner at Yiannis was delightful from start to finish! The food was delicious. The waiter was attentive and patient. There were two unique experiences. First, the owner came out and offered us a taste of octopus. I wouldn't have chosen to order octopus, but when he offered, we took him up on it. It was very good. Secondly, the owner's daughter owned the next-door restaurant, which was a high-end pizzeria that offered delectable baked goods in addition to Yiannis'...
