One of the best pizza spots on the Virginia Beach boardwalk! 🍕
We tried the custom-made pizza and the Tiki Tikka—both were absolutely delicious and full of flavor.

The vibes were great with live music adding to the atmosphere. 🎶

That said, the service could use some improvement. Our server mentioned they didn’t have enough glasses for water, so we had to use our drink glasses instead—which felt a bit odd for a sit-down place.

Still, the food made up for it. Would definitely go back for the pizza! 👌

The food and service were both exceptional. The Gouda’father may be the best meatball I’ve ever eaten

Came in for happy hour. Had Kyle. He was great. Drinks were awesome. I’ll be back. Thanks Kyle

Mainer stuck in VA. since 1990

The pie lacked flavor, and more servers other than the bartender, and one floor waitress. Maybe it was an off night.

Loud music, food was okay at best, and service was very slow. I do not recommend.

Best kept secret on the Oceanfront. Period.

Having recently done a 20 Pizzas in 30 days comparison on the Oceanfront, I've had many great pizzas. Went to some places twice in case you catch some on a bad day. ZZAS is hands down the best I found. First, foremost, and most importantly they have the best flavor and tastes of all the variety of ingredients they offer. I tried a few different combinations (cuz they're all so tempting) and they're all excellent.

The crust is just right, the sourdough bakes up perfectly (130yo starter helps), but doesn't overwhelm the pizza size wise. Never skimpy on toppings, not too much grease. The Diablo tomato sauce gives it just a little bit of kick. And the most reasonably priced as well. And surprisingly the wait is not long especially considering it's on the boardwalk.

Pricewise ever pizza in the area is $20 to $25+ here it's $17 to $21 out the door. They also have a nice Pizza Happy Hour 3-6 knocking $$ off the pizza.

I've had pizza all over the world and this is first class, top notch pie.

As a new resident here at the oceanfront I already know that they will be a regular on my pizza nights.(After 4 pies already, I better sign up for the frequent flyer rewards. Lol.)

Whether you're a local who hasn't been, or a visitor, don't miss the chance to get down to ZZAS to try out the excellent pizza which is almost as perfect as it gets.

Kyle & Rietta are awesome servers. Go see Rietta for Happy Hour, she rocks!!

It looks like they have also other great dishes to try and I can't wait to try them as well. Cheers!

Very cool spot to hang when taking a break from the beach. Good food and drink options. Kyle the bartender was super friendly, funny, and responsive. He will be the reason we come back to the restaurant.

Zaas was pretty good pizza, I would say the brick-oven crust was the best part.
As we sample different pizzas in the area, we will continue to rate them and pick our favorite.

In town for a conference and this place happens to be near my hotel. Lots of creative pies on the menu. My food and service from Jenna was so good the first night I came back my second night. First night was a paneer tiki masala pizza. Just the right amount of spice. Crust was the perfect char. My cocktail was excellent. Night two. Baked potatoe pizza. Again right on point and Jennas cocktail was excellent. If you are staying on the boardwalk definitely give it a try.

I was in town from Florida attending the Moca Art festival on the boardwalk. We are out in the sun all fay for three days. I went in to the restaurant to order a pizza for a bunch of us . The girl working in the restaurant should be fired. Her attitude was so awful it was stunning. There was nobody in the restaurant except her and her boyfriend. The chip on her shoulder was stunning. She was extremely passive aggressive. Obviously she did not want to ne working. I have been in sales my entire life and I own a business. If I or an employee of mine acted like that, they would be fired on the spot. Absolutely unacceptable behavior.
