Virginia Diner is an institution known for its southern favorites like fried chicken and greens. The food is always delicious, with customers recommending the New South BLT and pie, which can also be taken home. The buffet offers a variety of dishes, with favorites like pork chops and cabbage, though some reviewers suggest ordering off the menu for a fresher experience. This quaint and friendly diner features a great selection of take-home goodies and is described as a really good and unpretentious country diner with quick service. It is typically very busy, and while there may be a wait, many feel it is well worth it if time allows. The staff is accommodating, and service might vary during busy times. One server, Tykeia, has received praise for being outstanding and friendly, making customers feel welcomed. Parking is available behind the restaurant for larger vehicles, conveniently located near a main highway. Overall, Virginia Diner offers a taste of classic southern cuisine in a clean, cozy, and welcoming atmosphere, making it a unique stop on the way to the beach.
