I grew up coming to this place. I'm 52 years old and have been coming there since I was two or three years old with my parents every time we would go to Virginia Beach or Nags Head. The atmosphere is amazing the service is amazing the food is amazing the gifts that are available are truly one of a kind and amazing as well! Now I'm passing down the tradition of taking my kids there every time we go to the beach or my grandkids with us as well. 💚

I brought my mother to the diner on our way back to her home to pick up chocolate covered peanuts for her neighbors in her apartment building and for lunch. We were promptly seated arriving just before noon on a Thursday. Service was very attentive. I enjoyed my barbeque sandwich and my mother enjoyed her chicken pot pie. The tables were far enough apart to allow audible conversations. Parking is generous and it was easy for my mother to navigate with her rolling walker.

Stopped and had their plentiful buffet for lunch. Lots of great Southern specialities! Very popular stop while traveling along US-460.

Nov. 2025 update: We stopped for lunch and learned that they no longer offer the buffet everyday. Now it's only offercit on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. We ordered from the menu and had great meals. We also had a great conversation with George... a long, long time customer of the diner!!
