We cruise past Slack Tide all the time, but we finally jumped out of light-speed and docked, and it was absolutely worth the stop. Kiddo went pomegranate refresher; we ran a two-drink mission: pumpkin frozen coffee and toasted white pumpkin frozen coffee. Both are dessert-level sweet and seriously tasty. If you’re chasing a seasonal sugar comet, set your nav for this spot.

The cold brew is smooth and delicious! My wife also really enjoys the iced vanilla latte (one pump of flavor so as not to make it too sweet)! The staff is very friendly as well! It's definitely worth the 10-minute drive from the island!

I currently live in New York but I visit Virginia often and each and ever time I come I have to have coffee at slack tide. I'm not even a regular coffee drinker but there's is just that good. On top of the amazing coffee they also have an amazing staff and owner. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Inconspicuous spot, but a true gem! I was looking in the Chincoteague Facebook group for the best coffee place and this place was HIGHLY recommended. Those people were right.
We got a sea foam cold brew, and a latte with sea foam - both caramel.
The baristas were quick, friendly, and made delicious coffees for us to enjoy on our way to the island. When we leave, we'll be stopping by again for sure, and every time we visit Chincoteague from here on out!
