“The lady who made our meals, I am guessing it was Aubrey (from the receipt) blonde lady and younger, she was awesome. However, the darker haired lady who, was apparently the manager based on her picture being on the wall behind the register, was very rude and created what can be seen as a hostile work environment. She was making comments about how the blonde lady was doing everything wrong and made comments to the customers about “how some employees cannot get anything right” this was extremely uncalled for by any means. The lady should show better customer care and watch what she says to and about anyone when she is in front of customers. The blonde lady made our sandwiches just fine, and was quite polite to us in asking how we wanted our sandwiches. To me the importance is, “is the customer happy? Yes? Then shut your trap about your harassment if you have latent issues with your fellow employee.”

Oh and the Turkey thanksgiving sandwich thing is alright but missing gravy lol”

“While on vacation, we googled coffee shops, and found the Story Cafe. It was the best decision. We met Shelby, and this place was her dream! I had the Blue Lagoon Lemonade and the Butter Pecan muffin. Both were delicious! We had great conversation and learned how involved the shop is in the community. Shelby also gave us great ideas for other days trips. It was a blessing. I am glad we found this gem!”

“Small town Italian spot. Subs were good, pizza was on point and stromboli hit the spot. What would really bring us back is the people. Great service and the chef greeted us with a smile. If your near here worth the stop to get a bite and meet some welcoming folks!”

“This is a takeout Chinese restaurant and does not have an eat in portion, but I was visiting my parents from out of town and was horrified to see the rating here because it does NOT reflect the quality of the food.

I have eaten here since I was in high school which I am embarrassed to say is now 20+ years ago. This family has fed my family for just as long. The owner ALWAYS knows my father by name and food order (he has always been the takeout gofer haha) and I truly believe they care about their customers and the community. The quality is great and considering the location, it is probable that this restaurant has fed more people in this county than any other person around in that time.

I have lived in California, South Carolina and all over the state of Virginia but China King has always been my favorite Chinese restaurant and its always awesome to get to eat when I come home.
