Absolutely stunning and everything we had was wonderful. Cornelia and her team are so sweet. We will be back again!
Can’t speak to the cider—was really excited to try it. We saw online that well-behaved dogs are allowed on the patio. Do NOT bring your dog. The owner’s dog was not friendly to other dogs. He charged us and tried to pick a fight with my dog. We left.
Absolutely delicious cider and storybook farm and atmosphere! Cornelia the owner was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. Thank you! Wonderful experience.
Great service, atmosphere and cider! If you like cider on the dryer side, then this place is for you!
Fun and beautiful cidery. Complex flavors. Recommended.
We tried this cider on a past trip but never made it to the cidery—so we were beyond excited to finally visit this week. The vibes did not disappoint! Super chill, great music, and such a relaxing, cute atmosphere. The bartender was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, the food was fantastic, and the cider? Truly some of the best I’ve ever had. Most ciders are overly sweet or full of fake sugar, but every single one here was beautifully crafted and delicious.
While the cider blew me away, my absolute favorite part might’ve been Fanny, the cider dog. She is *the* most precious thing in the world. Even with a busy crowd, she would just flop down and nap like a queen. I’m obsessed. Please give her lots of gentle head pats if you see her—she’s such a good girl.
Thanks again for the amazing experience. We can’t wait to come back for more great cider and hopefully another visit with Fanny!
Great cider and lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
We visited during a trip to The Homestead and were so glad to hear more about the area from the owner who also led our cider tasting. His passion for revitalizing the farm was evident and he was able to give us great recommendations for additional activities in the area! The atmosphere of Troddenvale was so inviting and we didn’t have a single cider we didn’t like. Highly recommend a visit to see the way this farm has been transformed!
Wonderful experience, we did a tour with a guest chef Han and it was delicious, informative and fun! I didn't even think to take pictures ?
I've visited Troddenvale several times over the last few years and I've seen it change from a quiet property with some old buildings on it to an orchard, cidery, farm, tasting room, farmer's market, etc. teaming with life, energy and spirit. Will and Cornelia (alongside their friends and growing family) have worked tirelessly over the years to build a community gathering place and watering hole that is a sparking gem tucked softly in the Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia. Whether you're a nearby local, living a few hours away with some curiosity about Bath County, or someone traveling on or to the East Coast and is looking for a truly unique getaway, this is THE SPOT you want to go. The way time stands still there still haunts me in all the best ways and I can't wait til the next time I can go back.

Loved it. Great experience.
Everything about Troddenvale is absolutely amazing!
This is an amazing venue for special events. I also hear that Friday nights are a blast. We were there for a wedding party and the food was outstanding and the cider was great.
Excellent cider expressing the character and subtleties of our local and heirloom apples. As a brewer who is usually disappointed in the cider offerings I’ve tried, Troddenvale’s ciders stand out as some of the best you’ll find anywhere. Make the trip to Warm Springs on a Friday to sample a few ciders in the tasting room at Foodlore Fridays or look for them in selected shops around Virginia. If your shop doesn’t carry it, tell them you want it!
The cider tasting was a great experience today. We learned so much and the ciders are wonderful. Purchased a bottle to take home and my daughter and son-in-law bought two to take back with them to Arlington. Looking forward to more events at Troddenvale.
