First, I got the mushroom and Swiss burger which was cooked to order and very good. My server Garrett was very attentive and polite. Now the rest of the story, this restaurant is in dire need of a remodel. The chair i was seated in was so dilapidated I had to find another, the carpet was worn an filthy, the table was worn and sticky. The overall restaurant was dark and filthy, definitely needs a remodel.

I came to Applebee's a few times with friends and family. Megan is a super star she is so friendly. She made us feel like family. Our food gave out right on time and our drinks was just right. Every time I go there I always get her to wait on us because I know that our service is going to be perfect every time. If I could give Applebee's 20 stars I would 10 for Megan and 10 for the restaurant. I will definitely be telling people to come there. Once again thank you Megan for a amazing experience.

made a pick up order and when I arrived at 12:15 they told me its going to be an hour for the ribs. I didnt mind that since they were actually being smoking it which is good. The bad thing is how did I wait over an hour and one of sides is missing. The ribs are good so they get one star

Food was hot and fresh. Servers were very friendly, but very slow even though they weren't busy maybe 1/4 of the tables had patrons).
They were prompt with drink refills. Slower with food that also came out broken up and missing an order that she had to go back to have filled.
They had two different servers at our table and we needed three different bills. They mistakenly put all of the drinks on different orders, then put all of the food together on one separate bill. We had an hour drive and already waited about 20 mins for her to get to the table for our bill (she was nowhere in sight and we had to flag down a passing hostess), so we decided to ask for it all on one bill to avoid an even longer wait.
All in all, a decent restaurant, if the servers were paying more attention and not having multiple people taking the orders from the same table.

Worse eating experience in years. This place is in steep decline. The waitress was acting like she was high or on some kind of drug. There were literally five customers in the entire restaurant when we arrived and it still took 10 minutes, just to bring the water out, and then she proceeded to screw up our order and the order of the table next to us and a couple of other tables around us.She would stand at the table and talk for five minutes straight, much of which you could barely understand or made no sense. The barbecue wings we ordered were swimming in a huge pool of sauce. It looks like somebody took a 16 ounce of barbecue sauce and just dumped them over the wings. The steak I ordered was swimming in oil and tasted bland. Overall horrible experience . never going back again.

The Greatest Saiyaman
I just had a meal there with my brother after a long drive. I wasn't expecting too much from the place given the lack of business. My brother and I decided to give it a shot, and found that the service was phenomenal. Carissa was a wonderful employee to work with, and I'm very pleased that she was the one who served us.
I had one small gripe about my food, but nothing that I would have ever mentioned to her or anyone else. Very insignificant considering how well I was treated, and how quickly my food arrived. Should I ever find myself visiting Warrenton, VA again, I will be happy to visit her and this Applebee's again.
If you decide to go, Carissa said that she works weekends. Be sure to request her!

I was so Hangry and exhausted and opened my door dash app to order from here. Steak mashed potatoes and broccoli as well as a strawberry lemonade. Food came hot and fresh and cooked to perfection! Thank you restaurant workers! You did magic! I’m so happy and I will be ordering again soon! 20 stars!!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️🙏🏻

Confused because we love Applebee's! Traveled 35 minutes to dine in with my fiance' and our daughter. We were all so disappointed in the food. The boneless wings were over breaded, 3 times too crunchy, and cold. The only thing correct was that the barbeque sauce tasted like barbeque sauce. We ordered the kids chicken alfredo for our daughter but she wouldn't eat it after the first bite and she is a 14 month old eating machine and pasta is her pastime. I did take 2 bites myself just to figure out why it tasted so bad. The aftertaste coincidentally tasted similar to the rubbery plastic taste of baby formula and the one bite my fiance' ate had her stomach upset for hours. The burger I ordered I didn't even bother taking a bite. I wasn't asked my preference in temperature. It looked like my (14 month old) daughter put this thing together. Fell short of sloppy big time. The menu raves about the sauce being the star of the show but there was such a small amount of condiment if I would have tasted it I wouldn't have had any left on the burger. The worst part is the manager brought me the burger. The sprite was really bad. I thought for a second that maybe I was drinking carbonated dish water with a tear drop worth of lemon flavor at its best. It made sense as to why the restaurant was dead with a lonely atmosphere. 3 weeks ago we all sat down to eat at the Applebee's in front Royal and had the best experience you could ask for. Food was cooked perfect, served hot and happily and within reasonable timing. Warrenton Applebee's has a lot of work to do, needing a minimum of 180° turn around with a 400 meter sprint in the opposite direction.
