Meh. The grounds are really nice and the glass of wine I tried was fine. I just didn't like the vibe too much. Maybe I asked too many questions, maybe because I was in my hiking clothes. Who knows? But I didn't feel welcome.

They don't have flights of wine, they only do a full service tasting. I prefer to taste at my leisure and often buy a bottle. I was hot and tired so I settled for a glass of rose. It tasted fine, just not something to write home about.

There are no vegan food options at all other than crackers. That's a first for me at all the wineries I have been to.

If you have the time for a guided tasting and arrive wearing dressier clothes you might feel more welcome.

A very comfortable winery tucked away from route 211 near Sperryville. The wines are uniformly good and the view, while not as breathtaking as others in the area, is nice. They still offer counter tastings. I was there one early afternoon when the owner was entertaining some locals (or maybe wine club members) so the staff was a bit distracted, but they were friendly. I've been going to Gadino Cellars since 2006 or so and the experiences have been consistently nice.

This was the perfect winery after our hike in Shenandoah national park. I don’t usually enjoy all of the wines from tastings I get at other wineries but every wine I tasted here was great!!! The views were also exceptional and Crystal, the wine pourer was THE BEST. We really enjoyed our time and will definitely be coming back!!

We stopped by Gadino Cellars on a whim after seeing their sign along the road. We are certainly glad we did. Gadino Cellars is a small winery with a big personality in the name of the owner Bill Gadino who owns the winery with his wife Aleta (who made a brief appearance) Bill is super friendly, very knowledgeable and seems to love what he is doing. It was the 4th of July weekend and the place was somewhat busy but Bill had no problem engaging everyone. We found the wines to be quite good. Especially enjoyed the Pinot Grigio, Sunset, Petit Verdo along with their version of Port. We purchased a number of bottles and were on our way. We had a great time at Gadino Cellars.

Nebbiolo vintages are excellent. For us an unusual find (but we are from Texas). Whites also quite good. We tried a Nebbiolo tasting with a white to follow. Walked out with a 2015 that I suspect is in short supply. It’s quite good. Very pleasantly surprised by this winery. Live music by a father-daughter combo just made the afternoon in the warm June sun on their porch. Worth a visit. Someone here knows how to make wine!

Couldn't tell u about the wines. Stood at the bar for 10 minutes with no service. Was told 'Ill be with you in a minute', only to watch the server walk to the kitchen and kick an empty box in frustration. She then proceeded to clean empty tables while we were standing there. Not to mention the other 2 behind the counter that looked at us with no acknowledgement. Thank you Gadino for removing the 'service' from customer service.

It is rare that we enjoy every wine provided in our tasting, but we did here! What a lovely, peaceful setting and the wines were so delicious. I highly recommend a stop at this vineyard if you are in the area.
