The Little Washington wine flight was amazing, a very well-rounded experience with a palette for all. Location was a bit hidden, but once there the view was amazing… not to mention the actual estate interior which you can explore fully and sit wherever you want! Perfect relaxing place.

We stopped here after a hike and it was the perfect spot. The wine selection is great, my wife was pleasantly surprised at the house wine and there were plenty of local beer options. Friendly and welcoming service. Highly recommend!

There is the most fantastic view from the front porch. I will be back when it’s warmer to enjoy it! The home is decorated beautifully too and the staff is very friendly! FYI it’s no longer a B&

Beautiful backdrop and plenty of land at this winery. The vibe here is very "chill". The owner engages with customers and the manager at the winery is super friendly, too. My absolute favorite wine here is the "George Meritage Reserve" which is a Bordeaux style red. This wine is absolutely outstanding! The winery often has entertainment, and we were lucky to listen to a local artist, Kiaya who is also outstanding. Highly recommend the location, the people and the wine!

I can't speak on the rooms of the place as we didnt stay here but have been here twice for wine classes. First one we did was the Italian wine one which was awesome. There was a chatty table of older adults who wouldn't stop talking which was quite obnoxious but the class itself was great. Tried 10 different wines all which had explanations for each. We just went back yesterday for the boot camp and I personally thought that class was better. Very informative about how wines are made, pairings of both food and chocolates. The owner taught the classes and he is honestly the main reason they are as enjoyable as they are. We will be coming back for more classes for sure. Do yourself a favor and also take one!

We were very disappointed in our visit to the Little Washington winery. The person behind the bar was either having a really bad day or was so really unhappy about something. She wasn't friendly or helpful at all. Maybe they were really shorthanded because of the July 4th weekend? Whatever the reason it was a very unfortunate experience. We ordered 2 flights of wine. We tried them and left wishing we had not make the 30 mile drive to this winery.

What a charming venue for a wedding! We had the pleasure to photograph a marriage celebration at Little Washington Winery and would enthusiastically recommend it to any couple who wants a wedding with gorgeous scenery, an intimate feel and lots of great wine! Because it's set on a hill, the winery offers an absolutely spectacular view. The hill itself creates something of a bowl as it runs down from the main building, which allows you to do a wedding ceremony with amphitheater-style seating. The staff are super-friendly and very knowledgeable about the wines, which not surprisingly, are great for a post-wedding celebration!

Wow. What a nice experience. The wine and the tasting experience at this winery is excellent. Carl did a great job of helping us understand what we we were drinking. Beautiful home that hosts the tastings. Don’t miss this one.

Owners are rude and pretentious. They judge patrons by their accents and use of native colloquialisms, thereby dismissing them as uneducated. This could have been forgiven if their wine was any good, it is not. Save yourself time and go to Gadino Cellars or Copper Fox. For future reference, people do not speak in standard English, which is the study of grammar not linguistics. They speak in a manner that is natural to their upbringing, and geographical location. A fact, sir, you may want to remember while serving the community in Appalachia.

I have taken multiple classes here based on a recommendation from a friend who took the class the male instructor. However, both times my class was led by a women who spent the majority of the time talking about other local grocery stores (or big stores) vice the wine. She also was borderline offensive with very age-focused comments to a class that was mostly millennials.

Beautiful venue up an unusual narrow road. Don’t be afraid to go up the road.
