This place was a victim of the hype,.y expectations were probably a bit too high for this pretty average restaurant. The deviled eggs were fine, but subpar. The escargot was also fine, but completely standard. The Greek salad and rueben were excellent and saved the experience. Staff and ambiance was lovely. Go, but just temper your expectations.

We were seated at a table right next to an extremely loud group. There were plenty of other tables could have been selected. Our server didn’t bring bread until we asked. She forgot our appetizers, didn’t refill our water until specifically asked and she didn’t bring the dessert menu when we requested it. I was doubly irritated that a 20% service charge was added. Why would a server work hard when guaranteed a good tip. No manager ever checked on us while the loud table received quite a bit of leadership attention. No service recovery was made for the less than stellar service. Not worth the drive.

From start to finish, we were treated wonderfully. We were seated at a perfect window table beside a crackling fire, and the ambience of the dining room felt absolutely magical. Our Moscow Mules (served in chilled copper cups) were ice-cold and delicious, the kind of cocktails that set the tone for a special evening.
Our server, Lexi, was an absolute standout: gracious, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout. Tyler, the manager, also stopped by to welcome us, and his warmth and hospitality added to the experience. The food was exceptional—my Greek salad arrived with a generous slab of feta (a personal delight), and my Rockfish was extraordinary, served in thick, tender chunks with a beautifully balanced wine sauce. My wife loved every bite of her meal as well; she said her French onion soup was among the best she’s ever tasted, and her Chicken Coq au Vin was wonderfully juicy with a rich, flavorful sauce.
Start to finish, it was a genuinely lovely evening, and we’re grateful for such a memorable dining experience.

This cafe never fails to disappoint. I meet my best friend here once a month and we look forward to going every time! It is such a treat! If you are a foodie and appreciate farm to table ingredients (and a crackling fireplace on a fall day), this is the spot for you!
We had a wonderful breakfast at this restaurant across from the Inn’s main restaurant. A little noisy in the main dining room, when they have blue grass band. But we were able to ask for a table a little further away from the stage.

Always a fun time, I always end up eating too much. The service is amazing, the food is even better.
No strict attire requirements. Some people come in shirts and slacks, others and t-shirts and shorts. All are welcome

Stayed at the Inn and went here for dinner one night. Delicious options, great wait staff, and nice interior. Too hot to sit outside, though it looked nice.

Came here for a snack and it was really good. We shared some baked goods: two croissants, a lemon bar, a raspberry cake, as well as an earl gray matcha and a chai latte. Whilst they were expensive, there was great attention to detail and this was shown in everything that we bought. It’s hard to pinpoint a favourite dish but I really enjoyed the taste of the raspberry cake - occasionally you come across a $10 slice of cake, but this one is worth that. The depth of flavour in the chai was really good as well.
We didn’t have lunch here but I know that it would have been good as well.
Service was also great, Andre in particular was very good, and offered some great advice for hikes in the local area.
I look forward to returning to this place in the future, and wish to thank the team at patty o’s for a great afternoon treat.

First and foremost, our service was STELLAR and we will be back just to have Maggie take care of us again. She is such a delightful personality and it made our experience so much better.
We have been dying to visit the main restaurant and the cafe here and drove 3.5 hours from Maryland to do so. Despite a heavy rain storm and a tree blocking the road, we made it an hour later than our reserved time and the staff were so accommodating anyway. We started with a couple of exceptional drinks and I will point out that the Tipsy London drink is so superb, it definitely ranks as one of the best drinks I've ever had. The earl grey simple syrup with the smooth vodka is an exceptional pairing in that cocktail.
For appetizers, we tried the deviled eggs (wow), the escargots, and the soup which was a chilled orange tomato soup. That soup was surprisingly so refreshing and flavorful.
For entrees we got the mushroom Bolognese and the trout and I will absolutely stand by this - I typically order the fish dish at most restaurants and this was the best trout I have ever had. It was so soft and buttery with a delightful dance of flavors with the tomato tartare, leeks, and mustard. We also tried the white asparagus special which was so incredibly delicious, topped with capers and a cheese of some kind with a tangy but balanced sauce. We tried a few of the desserts and my favorite by far was the butter pecan ice cream. We visited for our wedding anniversary and the entire experience was pure magic. We will absolutely most certainly be back, thanks for a great memory!
