The taste, preparation, and literal size of my Cuban sandwich was huge, which is fantastic, because I was able to have my second half for my next meal! Very nice attentive employees, clean, nice atmosphere, I will be happy to return anytime.

This place is consistently good. I eat here around once a week and have never been disappointed since they opened. Even my picky children love this place (they love the ribs, yuca fries and plantains).
I was raised in Miami, FL where I had a variety of Cuban food in the city’s most popular Cuban restaurants. I was surprised and impressed with the quality of the Ropa Vieja, plantains, Moro’s (black beans and rice cooked together), ham croquettes, and the best homemade Flan at a restaurant. The owners are from Cuba and are lovely people who maintain a spot-free commercial kitchen and use quality ingredients at a reasonable price.
The Ropa Vieja had depth of flavor and wasn’t swimming in oil or salty like it is in so many places in Miami. Bay leaves, cumin, garlic, created a savory dish with such tender beef a knife wasn’t required. The sweet plantains were plump and tender which means fully ripen plantains were used to make the perfect “Maduros”. The ham croquettes reminded me of the best I had in southern Spain - fluffy and utterly delicious! We finished our meal with flan which was another delicious offering we were not expecting as most restaurants don’t offer the original, homemade recipe. We will definitely be back for more!

Went in for dinner this evening, they were short staffed so we ended up waiting longer than I suspect is normal, but it was worth it! The largest and best Cuban sandwich! Delicious fried yuca and plantains! And service with a smile. If I end up in Waynesboro again I know where I’ll be eating.

This place is a little slice of heaven! How did I not know it was here? So good!
Me and my fiancée stopped in here for lunch a few days ago on a lark because we hadn't had much Cuban food, and it was far superior to what we had anticipated. Friendly staff, quick service for our food, and it was all phenomenal. I ordered the cuban sandwich and fries while my fiancee ordered the half chicken and yellow rice, and it was all amazing. I wish only the best for this restaurant and hope that they continue to be as delicious as time goes on.

We could easily have been eating in Miami. Excellent food, good-sized portions and good value. We both had pulled pork, one with congri rice and yuca con MOJO, the other with yucca fries and red beans. As I said, tasted as good as any Cuban restaurant I've visited in Miami. We recommend this small restaurant to others.

After living in Miami for a number of years I never thought I could experience the Cuban food that I loved. Thanks to a Taste of Cuba, I now have that delicious Cuban food once again. As soon as you walk through the door the aroma of Cuban cuisine hits you. All those memories of Miami came back to me. I had the Cuban sandwich which is fantastic!!! I also recommend the yuca con mojo as a side. I highly recommend going there for a delicious meal.
