Closed for holidays through Jan 7. Only posted on IG, not updated on their Google hours/business, so we drove here excited for celiac GF lunch to find the sign on the door :(

The French toast was super dry and tasteless we took one bite and left.

Besides the eggs that never came, when we checked with the guy who take our order he said he thought we were just asking about it 🤪

You can’t go wrong. Having Celiac has been a major problem for me and finding this restaurant/bakery has been a blessing. Everything is FANTASTIC!!!

I picked up a holiday order of blackberry buckle, Swedish apple cake, mini cheesecakes, cupcakes, pb pie and a lot of rolls.

I am enjoying the very rich and tender Swedish apple cake right now. Perfectly spiced and warmed up. Whoops, I forgot about the chess pie (my fave).

They have Hawaiian rolls, white rolls, and another kind. I bought so much I ended up donating to a local organization. So Crack O Dawn will be making even more people happy than just me and my family.

Check them out, hard working ladies in Waynesboro off Main. They have even more goodies (cookies, coffees, pies, cupcakes, cheesecakes, organic and craft sodas) than I listed here.

I can't wait to get into the chess pie.

Happy Thanksgiving!

This was our first time there. We enjoyed a Spinach Feta Wrap and a Breakfast Bowl. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was pleasant.

I loved having brunch here. Who doesn’t love a cozy, old house? I was pleasantly surprised to find the menu was gluten free, and everything tasted good. After our meals we all got a pastry to go- I recommend the oatmeal cream pie. There were also muffins, cupcakes etc. If you’re exclusively gluten free, this place is a dream, and if you’re not it’s just a bonus. Also, they have an option to order a pie ahead of the holidays! I wish I lived in the area. I hope to come again.

Wanted a local place for breakfast, that had gluten free options. We were pleasantly surprised when we got there and learned the whole menu is gluten free, and was delicious! Highly recommend the s’mores pancakes. The staff were also extremely kind and inviting. Would definitely go back!

It was a beautiful morning to eat outside to celebrate my son's birthday. What a huge disappointment!
1. Outside eating area was full of leaves, chairs needed to be cleaned off and the table full of dust. The server gave me napkins so I could clean it.
2. My grandson ordered the s'more pancakes. He was told they didn't have the ingredients. OK, he ordered the stuffed French toast instead which comes with strawberry compote. He also ordered apple juice.
The server comes out to let us know they are out of the strawberries for the stuffed French toast and they don't have any apple juice...ok...he then ordered regular French toast and hot chocolate instead. I tasted his French toast and it is the worst I've ever had. His hot chocolate was more like hot milk.I Could hardly tell there was any chocolate in it. But wait! There's more!
My 4 yr old grandson loves pancakes so his mom ordered one pancake since normally they cover a whole dinner plate $6. She also ordered one for herself. They were probably 4 inches in diameter and on a dessert plate. One of them still was liquid inside so it was not fully cooked, which we had taken back and refunded our $6.
There's more. The California brekkie bowl (anything CA always has avocados) which my son wanted, had no avocados because they were out.
There were great menu items but if there are no ingredients to make them, Why have them? The food is very bland and uneventful.
We will not return.
The prices were as if we were at a full on restaurant with servers. We had to order at the front, get our own water, etc.
