Tailgate Grill is a typical diner with plenty of choices. The burgers are exquisite, taste just like homemade, and are made with real hamburger, nice and thick, and very juicy. The best bacon cheese fries are available, and the onion rings are way above average quality. The fried mushrooms are absolutely delicious. Service is great and fast, and the staff are friendly and go above and beyond to ensure satisfaction. The restaurant is clean, with a nice atmosphere, TV’s with games on, and beer on the menu. The order of fries are HUGE, and the portions are out of control, yet prices are reasonable. One customer noted the order of fries can be shared between two grown adults. The burgers are a highlight, with options like jalapeños, and the sweet tea is a bonus for those from the south. Tailgate Grill is considered the best burger shop in town, and a permanent go-to lunch spot for many. Highly recommended.
