At 4:45 pm, this restaurant should be closed. There were 7 people waiting inside, 5 cars waiting on lot, 3 cars at mobile delivery lot. Why bother taking orders when you won't able to serve? I ordered at 4:48 pm and got mine at 5:31, after waiting at pull up lane for 30 minutes. When I went in, my order wasn't even started.
Love this place! The food is always properly cooked, hot, and tasty. The restaurant is well stocked and clean. Employees are friendly and helpful. Biscuits are perfect every time. The crust on the chicken is light & crunchy, not greasy but is moist. I prefer dark meat but the chicken sandwiches use breast meat and they are very moist. The mac & cheese is creamy with lots of cheese. The strawberry biscuits are a great little treat either with or without a meal. Same great biscuits but with fruit bits - yummy but not too sweet. First off, almost 29 dollars for 8 pieces of chicken, no biscuits and no sides. That alone I will not be back. The chicken was so so. Nothing great. The worst part of it The next day we were violently throwing up. Since we had no biscuits or sides it had to be the chicken.

Loved my experience at Popeyes! They were fast, courteous, and so kind. The music they play was fun and I loved the themed wall art. Plus, who doesn't love hot wings!
We’ve been getting food from here every few weeks since they opened and they have come a long way, getting good employees for a new business isn’t easy. We pretty much always use the drive thru and the mobile app to order ahead, sometimes it does take a little while to get the food even when they’re not very busy but the food is always hot and good! I usually check my bag now before I leave just to make sure my order is right, I few times there have been mistakes but if you bring it to their attention inside they’re always apologetic and make it right. I wouldn’t normally make a review but I like the attitude of all the employees I’ve interacted with, and at a fast food place that’s saying something! I bet with time they’ll get more efficient at moving people thru quicker but I’m happy to have them as another option for eating in town! Side note, I really like the flounder sandwich and wish it wasn’t just during lent that they bring it out, but I’ll enjoy it while it lasts!

I feel that Popeye's in Waynesboro VA has the BEST fried chicken sandwich in the area, and we have many restaurants that serve it. Ample amount of chicken, even hanging over the bun. The coating is super crispy and the meat is tender and juicy. Now my go-to fast food joint.
I’ll never understand the reasoning behind skimping people out on sauce. My family and I went to Popeyes tonight. Got three whole meals. Three meals that included fries, chicken and drinks. I asked them for Mardi Gras mustard and Sweet Heat. We paid $45 for all this. So $45 and THREE MEALS they gave us ONE pack of mustard and ONE pack of sweet heat. Like are you serious??? $45 worth of food and I get two packets of sauce for my family to share ? make it make sense. Food tastes great but I don’t understand how 2 packs of sauce is supposed to cover three whole meals. Just ridiculous.
Tonight I was going to Popeyes for dinner, I lt reason I left the house, waited in the drive thru forever and then was told to come inside...not a problem...but then I go inside and not a single person was wearing gloves and touching everyone's food, I called to speak to the manager and they got rude and loud with me.
