This place is a rare gem. Creates an atmosphere that brings you back in time to breakfast at your grandparents. Food is so well cooked and comes out fast no matter how busy. Staff are always lovely! Makes you feel at home no matter which part of the world you come from. I used to live in Waynesboro, but moved to NH three years ago, but still try to come here at least once a year!

Parking: We love this place but tiring of having to make reservations. We were in the neighborhood walked in at 11:30. The facility was one third full. They could not seat us due to “reservations”.We left and discovered a new venue that was really good. While we understand reservations and use them, it is frustrating to continually be booked. Some days your schedule is not set. We will not be going as much as other options are as good and more flexible. A business should have some flexibility.

Delicious
Super friendly and the omelettes were great. Full of flavor and not salty! Great place to stop if driving on Skyline. For breakfast, keep driving past HAPP coffee and come here.

We always enjoy getting together here. This time we celebrated my cousin's birthday (on the 28th) & her mom's 98th birthday (on Halloween).
My mom (101), my brother, sis in law, and I went too. Good is always great. Be sure to make a reservation!

I had my first visit to this lovely place in October, and what a delight it was!
Friendly atmosphere, great service and the food was fantastic!
I have shared with many friends about the food and hope they will choose to visit also.
It was well worth the one hour drive for me!
I'm looking forward to my next visit!

Stopped in after leaving Shenandoah and had an excellent meal with great service (thank you Doris B!)
Tomato basil soup was delicious as were the sandwiches (which currently average around $12 and come with a side). We had The Tribeca, which had nice cuts of thick turkey and fresh tasting spinach and cucumber, and The Granny, chopped corned beef and melted pimento cheese on rye. Per Doris's wise recommendation lunch was topped off with the perfectly spiced apple cobbler, which was served piping hot with vanilla ice cream. All in, our meal totaled around $55 for 2 coffees, 2 soup and sandwiches, and 1 dessert (note that there is a small credit card processing fee).
The dining area is filled with antique furniture and art including a medley of vintage plateware used for meal service, which gives the space a cozy, unique atmosphere. Lunch time seems to fill up quickly so be sure to make a reservation or arrive just after they reopen at 11am for lunch.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options denoted on the menu
Wheelchair accessibility: Dining room may be a bit tight to navigate, but there are no stairs. Bathroom is a single toilet and large enough to fit a wheel chair, but may not have a bar to hold.

This little gem is a tea house setting, with table service and made to order plates. Think doilies, your nanna's best plates, and Southern favorites like chess pie. My veggie, no cheese omelette was on point.

Businesses should keep to the hours they post. Showed up at 1:50 as the posted hours were open until 2:30, but a printed sign on the door said they closed at 1:00 that day. Drove 30 minutes to give them a try, won't make that mistake again.
Excellent place for breakfast. Servings are very adequate. Surroundings and service make this a great place for a meal.
