I really hope this place is here for the long haul! Our family loved our food and will be back for more (for sure). Although a small place to dine-in, do not let that deter you from eating from their kitchen! Order out and enjoy your meal at sunset park, home for a movie dinner, or really anywhere (just take this food with you, it’s so good😍)!

I've had New Orleans style food at many restaurants in my lifetime none were better than the Gumbo Hut. The food was amazingly delicious 😋. This is what I call a hidden gem. Very great restaurant, I can't wait until I'm back in town to eat here again.

The wings at The Gumbo Hut are amazing. Best in Waynesboro, among all the other great menu items. The owner, Michelle was a pleasure to talk with. If you are in the area give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
