The restaurant was exceptionally clean. We were acknowledged right away, seated and the menu was explained. The meal was delicious and cooked to perfection. Ingrid is a wonderful chef and very sweet. We were very pleased and will return.

When I get homesick....After 23+ years away from my moms cooking in Germany....Ingrid steps in, the Jaegerschnitzel....or the Wurstplatte....or just plain Spaetzle and her killer potato salad is what gets you going....she fills you up till your eyes pops out and then serves some desert that is almost illegal.....its so good!!!Down to earth real German food from down to earth people....Love it!!!!!***

Reservations required since they only have five or six tables so plan to call several weeks ahead of when you wish to visit. Dinner is a selection of about seven entrees made fresh. It was very tasty and authentic. Dessert was absolutely delicious!! Popular menu items can get sold out if your reservations are later in the evening so have a backup choice. Hopefully next time we will be able to try the chicken.

We were thrilled that Gasthaus Edelweiss has reopened. You have to make a reservation and the hours are limited but it absolutely worth it. The owner is a fabulous cook from Berlin. The food is authentic, the atmosphere quaint, and everything on the menu is fresh and delicious.
