I kept hearing about how good Rita’s is and had the chance to try them today. I’m so glad we did because I got the special of the day, fried sugar toads, and let me tell you they were delicious! It was my first time having sugar toads and boy were they good. Thanks for the great meal Craige!

It was kinda random. Not a restaurant but a food truck in a U-Shaped driveway. However the food was great and worth a stop if you want some takeout. Be advised only takes cash or

Had the vegan falafel gyro with sautéed veggies (hold the dairy tzatziki) with fries and it was all quite good. Recommend calling in your order to avoid/reduce wait time.Vegetarian options: Has vegan and vegetarian options. The menu lists several vegan options but is currently only offering a quite tasty falafel gyro (and fries) with sautéed veggies but without tzatziki. The owner wants to provide more vegan options but doesn’t have the demand. So if you’d like more vegan options, please let him know.Parking: Maybe three spots on the grass near the food truck.Dietary restrictions: Has vegan and vegetarian options. Rita's is a food truck parked and set up in a perm fashion for 8 months of the year. The set up is as good as any small kitchen in any brick & mortar restaurant. The owner and operator clearly take great pride in the product. My wife and I live in the NE corner of the NNK. We have been looking for some legit Gyros but have not been able to find any in the NNK. Turns out Ritas makes an outstanding Lamb Gyro. I would suggest adding extra Taziki sauce and add raw onions for the authentic taste. We ordered double meat and it turned out to be enough for two meals. I would highly recommend Ritas for a fresh tasty take away if you are in the area. Looking forward to my next visit already.

We ordered three entrees: a grilled shrimp poboy, a steak gyro, and a daily special that consisted of grilled shrimp, steak, and chicken over a bed of seasoned rice. Everything was delicious. The shrimp was juicy, the steak was tender, and the tangy rice complimented the chicken to a tee. We didn't order ahead, but the wait wasn't a problem, even on a Saturday afternoon. Definitely bring cash or download CashApp before visiting as cell service is spotty and Rita's doesn't take plastic.
