My friend and I were at Adrift in December. We both were disappointed. The menu is limited. We had the pecan beet salad and baked oysters. The salad was mediocre, the oysters tiny and tasteless. That’s the second time I was disappointed. Never again!

Arguably the best environment. A great list of drinks. Food is next to perfect. A chef with a star. But now he owns the place

Great upscale eatery in little White Stone. Drinks mixed to perfection, appetizers delicious (best oysters on the half shell I've had anywhere). Great, friendly service. A fun place to eat and drink.

The staff is very friendly, the young lady who was bartending could make great drinks, and the food was great! What more could you ask for in a restaurant?

Sad to say bad experience. Reservation at 7:45, no dinner at 9:00. Food was good, but by the time we waited that long we were just exhausted. Portions small. Our server was disconnected…talking to other staff and polishing glasses rather than attending to tables. All tables next to us were noticeably frustrated too. We live here but can’t promise I’ll get my husband back again.

Our server, Holly, was exceptional—professional and full of great recommendations. The oyster appetizer with beet sorbet, called the Slurpy, was easily the best I’ve ever had. The ambiance is eclectic, and the menu is a delightful mix of bold, creative flavors. Highly recommend! Reservations are a must.

Went recently. Air conditioning was out. Our wives left the restaurant mid meal to go outside and cool off, as it was so hot inside. In conversation with others, we learned the AC had been out for some time. I was surprised at how limited the wine list was, a choice of three whites and three reds and none particularly good. If this had been my first time at Adrift--it wasn't--it would have been my last.

Adrift is a must if you’re in the northern neck, this has been the best restaurant experience I’ve had in a very long time! All of the staff were so kind and attentive!
Every plate was delicious-we got the bao buns, jerk chicken and mackerel special- and don’t skip on the homemade ice cream! The garden cocktail and Malbec rose were lovely! Thank you for a wonderful evening!!

The baked oysters are amazing. The ox tail was outstanding and we shared a sundae for dessert. My cocktail had bee pollen in it. It was refreshing and tasty. The service was top notch. Dining at the adrift is always a homerun.
My husband and I went to Adrift for just one cocktail and immediately was hooked. So much so, we ended up ordering an appetizer (Wedge Salad with Point Reyes blue cheese and Oyster Slushies - cucumber sorbe was phenomenal!) and eventually an entree (
Mussels & Frites - seriously the best mussels I've have had on east coast) and then dessert (Pavlova). The food was incredible, staff was friendly ans knowledgeable, and each dish was a unique blend of fresh/quality ingredients. The cocktails were amazing, well balanced, and packed with flavor. Being from Seattle, our culinray experience bar has been set high. ADrift was incredible and exceeded all our expectations. The food, cocktails, ambience, and service worth the trip. I highly recommend if you're in the area!
