Enjoyed the banter between my dad and Phylesha. She took great care of us! Looking forward to coming again whenever I'm here for a visit. Forgot to take pictures...we had the crabcake dinner and salmon dinner both with collard greens.

FYI - They'll be closed Jan. 1 - Jan. 15.

This place has stepped up its game lately. My wife and I hadn't been here for several years and decided to give it another try. We were pleasantly surprised at the level of service and food. We'll be back.

Slow service due to staffing. Seated at a card table so very flimsy. Food is above average, prices are average. Would not go back.

If I could give it more than 5 stars I certainly would!
DELICIOUS, great service, atmosphere, the appetizers, salad, main course, carmel cheesecake and freshly brewed decaffeinated coffee...were all just top notch! Will recommend to others and will absolutely be back!!!

We went to the Sandpiper in White Stone on 10/13/2024 to celebrate my cousin's 83rd birthday with his friends. The food was good.

When my cousin wanted to pay the bill, it had already been settled. A woman completely unknown to us, who had been sitting opposite us and was from Mechanicsville, had picked up the bill. What a great gesture that left us completely speechless and we would like to take this opportunity to thank her from the bottom of our hearts as she had already left the restaurant. Many, many thanks
God bless you.

We were seated in what felt like an auxiliary room off to the side of the main dining room. The atmosphere was lackluster, quite different back there, and the room smelled musty. The bar area looked very cozy and I'd recommend that. Where we were seated was an overflow room off the main dining room. It was our misfortune to be there at the same time as another customer whose loud voice dominated the small room. There appears to be only one server who works very hard and has to serve people bulk-style - like you're in mess hall with all the salads brought out together, etc. The food was not worth the cost, especially since they tack on 3.5% penalty for using a credit card. One of the specials, a grilled halibut dish was drowned in a much too oily mushroom sauce. A very disappointing experience.

Our first time dining at Sandpiper and everything was delicious! Great service and they put thought into our one to-go meal to ensure it was just right when it arrived to the diner at home. We will be back!

It was our first time eating here. And I must say by far the best food ever! We order steaks and they were so good. Staff were extremely friendly and funny. Definitely will be coming back.
