I was actually just sitting here thinking about how great the Sandpiper was last evening. The whole experience was wonderful and I'm glad we'll be able to go again. We'll be here for 7 months and we WILL be going back. Swordfish for me and the wife had shrimp and crab cake.

Looking for a nice place to eat and my husband found this resto in apple map. The serving is superb and cocktail drinks are truly with alcohol not juice (and I love it ). The place is great and big parking. If you like lumpia (Filipino spring roll) you can have it as appetizer? . One of the best place to eat in Middlesex , northern neck county and nearby areas????????.

Worst place in my four n half years here in VA!! RUDE dark skinned waitress who must not like working and after wanting to try it out for 2.5 years I walked out! She was rude, the customer standing by me even was suprised and had to flag her down after she just stared at me at the door. I was a NEW customer!! She must not own the place because she didnt seem to care that i told her if that's how she was going to be waiting on me, then im leaving!! ...wont be coming back to TRY it!! Tell the owner you're in a service field, people talk n I recommend as a Google guide, she screwed up for this business royally! Small place, rude upon entrance and told me they close when they feel like it!? I came in half hour before " closing time" . Smh.

We have visited Sandpiper twice, both times with friends and are always met with a gracious staff and a super dining experience. It has a great local vibe, but is very welcoming to all who grace their doors. The menu is full of many options (not just seafood) and there are nightly specials too. Full bar as well as non-alcoholic options. The portions are generous. We have enjoyed pasta dishes (shrimp scampi was terrific) and the chicken with Alfredo sauce was very nice too. If they have their twice baked potato on the menu, it is not to be missed! Lovely spot for a fun dining experience.
A group of 6 for dinner. The menu has something for everyone. The food was good. A bit pricey as the spaghetti was $20. Our server was a lot of fun. Would go back.

This is a great local spot, their strength is definitely their employees. We had great service and got some great tips for places to go while in the area. We had some great local seafood, nothing too fancy but some great home cooked food for sure. We get there at the right time because it got very busy soon after we got there and it was difficult for them to seat people because of the size. Go here if you can get a spot!
