Great srrvice and very detailed tour! They were the only coloniel distillery that I saw near williamsburg so they stood out to me and they did not dissapoint!

This distillery is so wonderfully unique. Kara explains the products perfectly and creates a relaxed environment. All of their spirits use ingredients only available to colonials in Williamsburg in the 17th century. My favorite is the gin, but the rums and whiskeys are great as well. It’s a must see in Williamsburg and an often overlooked place to have a great cocktail by locals.

My wife and I had a wonderful time here. We took the free tour and learned a lot about the history of distilling in the colonial era. We then tried a flight of their whiskies and rum. All were excellent. Great atmosphere and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. If you're in the Williamsburg area, definitely worth a stop.

Awesome experience. This is a historical distillery, they use as close to original methods in the distilling process. The tour was very informative. The bourbon was my favorite. Ultimately, our waitress Cara, was a star. She sells the experience. The whole staff was amazing. The service enhances the experience.

Outstanding history lesson. I would recommend it to every whiskey enthusiast. I know the 1608 is pricey but probably the most complex bourbon I have ever had and i have visited over 200 distilleries. Could not afford a bottle but the pour was worth it. The staff was knowledgeable and I had a great visit. Look forward to returning.

Unique tasting experience and delicious spirits! Really enjoyed spending an hour in this cozy space, learning about the distilling processes used to make spirits the way it was done 300 years ago.

This place is so cool. They aim to distill their liquor the same way they did in Colonial Virginia. The thing is, not only is it cool from a historical point of view, but it is delicious. The best bourbon I have ever had!

Glad we finally visited. Kara was great & very knowledgeable. We did a splash of the spiced rum & whiskey. We then decided on a flight of cocktails. We chose the 8 Shires Lemonade, Seasonal Shrub & Wicked Maiden. Thanks for the great cocktails & conversation!
