Amazing food. Cheerful airy room, plenty of space. Friendly staff. Can’t say enough about the shrimp and grits, biscuits, arugula salad with fig & prosciutto. The meatball and rice grits (risotto to me) appetizer was perfect. The freshness of the food and sophisticated touches in preparation outshine most places I go to at home, and home is Manhattan so I have lots to compare this to. We LOVED this restaurant.
We've been to Amber Ox many times since they opened and never had a bad experience. I was especially impressed tonight (6/13/25) however when we went to dinner with my mother. We were initially seated at a high top table and the hostess took notice of the fact that it was difficult and uncomfortable for my mom to navigate. March 2025 | Spring Menu | My friend had the burger. It was his second time at Amber Ox, two different seasons, same protein. He loved it. He compared it to the fall menu burger and was so impressed that it was done this way. It was my birthday. I got the pork chop dish. Although, I love your menus, this is absolutely my favorite.
