The food was very good, but the service was slow and terrible. We started to order, but I was informed they were out of my selection. When I hesitated, because I had no Plan B, she immediately walked off and didn't come back for 15 minutes. We placed our order, and she came back to say they were out of my husband's selection. She suggested another dish, which he accepted. Later, we overheard her taking the order for another table. She only became attentive when she presented the check.

We showed up without a reservation and the owners graciously seated us. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. This is a family run establishment and the owners really understand what it means to provide excellent service. I'm looking forward to dining there again.

Great food.comfortable atmosphere. All we could ask for. We love Mediterranean food and were grateful to find a good place.

Really disappointed by our trip to Anatolia. The reviews were solid, but the hummus was bland, my lamb shank looked like it had been boiled, and my wife's dish (shrimp) was bland and unseasoned. Really puzzled why the place is well-regarded, we won't be going back.

Wonderful cozy little spot! Walking in I was a little surprised at how small it was. But after sitting down and taking the place in, I felt it was very warm and familiar! Server was excellent. Made some wonderful suggestions and we enjoyed friendly conversation with her. The entrees were beautiful and were just as tasty! The food was good and portions were generous. The restaurant is perfect for a date night, girls night, or even a meal by yourself. It was quiet, even with the place half full. I wouldn't bring my child here... he would ruin the ambiance! Had a wonderful evening. Would definitely come again!

One of the best experiences I've ever had in my life. The food was incredible, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the people were beautiful. You must dine here. I will remember this place forever, and visit often. I am full - both my stomach and heart.

Can’t find a flaw! Family-owned and run restaurant away from the touristy sections of Williamsburg. Food was delicious, and very generous portions. We started with soup; my wife had soup of the day, mushroom , while I had red lentil — both wonderful. Followed that up with the zucchini pancakes, again, really good! For our main courses, I had the lamb Shawarma, while my wife had lamb shank; both were incredible! The lamb shank was so tender, juicy and flavorful— just fell off the bone. We took our dessert to go (no room for It after that dinner!) — chocolate baklava. Prices are VERY reasonable particularly given the portion sizes, and our server, Ke, was very friendly, informative and attentive. Great atmosphere. All in all, a GREAT experience! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We were coming in on Friday when Colonial Williamsburg was celebrating Christmas, so we knew we needed a reservation. Anatolia had openings and their menu looked great. We were not disappointed. My husband had the Lamb Shank and I had the Zucchini Pancakes. We both had their mushroom Soup also. Everything tasted great, especially the chocolate baklava for dessert. The place is very nice and even a bit romantic. Our server was very attentive and we had a very nice evening. Later when we were looking through local advertisements, we noticed they also had a 10% off coupon. If you're looking for something a little different, Anatolia is your place.

This was the first time eating here. The lady was very nice & the food was very good. We had the Zucchini Pancakes & they were fantastic. Nice & fluffy. We had never had them before. We had pomegranate tea. We liked it so much we took some home.

We have been traveling for over two weeks and this was the best meal we've had so far! The lamb Shawarma was so tender I could cut it with my fork and the flavor was delicious! My husband wants to go back again and try the kebabs.

We ate here during a recent visit to W&M for parents weekend. Being in New Town the restaurant is a bit out of the way and doesn't attract the crowds that places do that are closer to CW and the Richmond Road area. That was a blessing as we were able to easily get a table. Service was fantastic with a very friendly hostess and server. We ordered the house-made hummus which was good. We quickly went through the provided vegetables and pita bread for dipping and they provided more at no charge. We had a variety of dishes including kebobs, manti, and gyro meat. The stuffed onions were a very big hit. The wine menu features a lot of unusual selections from Armenia and Turkey. The waitress was helpful in assisting us in picking a variety and we weren't disappointed. We will definitely return.

Excellent choice of delicious home-made Mediterranean dishes. My family tried the lamb shawarma, manti, kebab, and salmon and all of it was perfect. We ended the meal with perfectly brewed Turkish coffee and homemade baklava and the best lokum I’ve had. The waitstaff and owners were very responsive and hospitable. Looking forward to visiting again when we’re back in town!
