I have been going to blaze‘s pizza with my family since it has opened. Went there today and ordered a pizza with the high-rise crust and it was undercooked did not have much taste to it. My wife was extremely thin crust quality has gone down.

Asked for no arugula on my herbivore pizza. Watched them make it and she didn't put any on. Then when it came to table somebody added it. Had to pick it all off. The sauce was overly hot and spicy. The GF crust was awful. Bad experience and will not be back Caesar salad was brown romaine... Not good either. 👎🏼👅

The pizza is phenomenal, and I'm from NY and hate all the pizza here in VA except this spot and one other out in the middle of nowhere. With 2 exceptions, the staff here were all kind of flippant. Not rude or anything. They give of the vibe of wanting to get through their shift. The girl that greeted us seemed almost to not even really be there at all. So why 5 stars for the service? Patrick. I think he noticed my wife has some mobility issues, because he brought over or food and some of the shakers then engaged us with a cheerful attitude and I'm not just talking about as a staff member. The man engaged us as if we were friends he hasn't seen in awhile and was amazingly nice and made our visit go from a common place one to something outstanding. Thank you, Patrick! We appreciate you!

The Undercover Boss show should come to this location, see how incredible Patrick is, and then give him his own franchise knowing he would be the best image and probably best performing franchise for the company. He gave the best hospitality, anticipated our needs, and made this Mother’s Day so special. We drove 40min just for Blaze, but we will come back to this location because of Patrick.
