The staff was so friendly and kind to my family! They were patient with us, explained option's, engaged with the children and were really so nice. This should be the model store for Cal Tort!

This California Tortilla location is amazing thanks to great customer service and good food.
We enjoyed our lunch today and are very grateful to the manager who came around to check on everyone. He noticed our little one loved her black beans, and brought her some more just for her to eat later.
We will definitely be back! A+

My daughter had a small beach wedding. We had this restaurant cater a taco bar for the reception. They were supposed to set it up when it was delivered and instead basically dumped and ran. We had to set it up ourselves. Also didn’t bring any of the drinks. The owner called two days later and asked how everything was. Didn’t really want to address any of the problems. He couldn’t get off the phone fast enough when I said you already have my money so I guess it’s over now. If you want to throw money away this is your place.

Last night was the second time eating at this restaurant. Both times were great. Last night they were extremely busy. However, the staff were polite, stocked up on food and quick serving us. The food was good and they always have a wonderful selection of hot sauce to try. The kitchen and lobby looked clean even during the rush. I would definitely recommend over their competitors in the fast food Mexican bowl/ wrap game.

First time eating there. Fresh food and good seating. It was no more expensive than Taco Bell.

Found this place while looking for something for dinner while visiting Williamsburg. Looked like a good menu and from the reviews on other websites was going to be good. Not so much. I decided on the Nachos and got them with the blackened chicken and black beans then loaded them up with a bunch of other toppings. Took my food back to my hotel and proceeded to be disappointed. While the nachos were good for the most part, the chicken was horrible. It was so dried out and hard as a rock that I couldn't even eat one piece of it. Looked as if it had been sitting in the warming pan for hours. So after picking out all the chicken rocks, I did finish the remainder of the nachos. As I said, they were good, but nothing spectacular and certainly not worth the money I paid for them. I visit Williamsburg about once a year and like to try different restaurants when I visit, but I'm not sure whether I will be back to California Tortilla with all the authentic Mexican restaurants available. I so wanted to like this place, but no such luck.
Cons- Meat was a little dry.Pro- Dishes were tasty and full of a variety of your own choice ingredients.
