Last night was the second time eating at this restaurant. Both times were great. Last night they were extremely busy. However, the staff were polite, stocked up on food and quick serving us. The food was good and they always have a wonderful selection of hot sauce to try. The kitchen and lobby looked clean even during the rush. I would definitely recommend over their competitors in the fast food Mexican bowl/ wrap game.

If you are looking for a change from Chipotle, try this place out. I ordered a create your own bowl and the steak was good.
Found this place while looking for something for dinner while visiting Williamsburg. Looked like a good menu and from the reviews on other websites was going to be good. Not so much. I decided on the Nachos and got them with the blackened chicken and black beans then loaded them up with a bunch of other toppings. Took my food back to my hotel and proceeded to be disappointed. While the nachos were good for the most part, the chicken was horrible. It was so dried out and hard as a rock that I couldn't even eat one piece of it. Looked as if it had been sitting in the warming pan for hours. So after picking out all the chicken rocks, I did finish the remainder of the nachos. As I said, they were good, but nothing spectacular and certainly not worth the money I paid for them. I visit Williamsburg about once a year and like to try different restaurants when I visit, but I'm not sure whether I will be back to California Tortilla with all the authentic Mexican restaurants available. I so wanted to like this place, but no such luck.

The food is always top notch, full of flavor and gold portions. The staff is great, and the first few times when we were clueless, were very good at walking us through everything. Our picky kiddos even ask to come here!

The rice and the chicken in my burrito were overcooked, hard, and crunchy. I've never had junk food like this before, anywhere. This place started out awesome, but after being open for a few months, the food is worse than cafeteria burritos at a community college. No thanks.

First time at restaurant I got a burrito that had steak padded black beans jalapeños couple other things . When she went to fold it it broke open so agreed to take it in a bowl. It was amazing delicious and I was very impressed with it.

Everything was very flavorful, but I just didn't feel like all the flavors meshed well together. The steak was tender and juicy and the best part of my bowl, but random sweetness from the veggies and salsa put me off a bit. But I'd give this place another go, and I'd get something completely different.Vegetarian options: Tofu meat substitute and plenty of variety in flavorful veggies
