Capitol Pancake House

Capitol Pancake House received five stars for the excellent customer service, exceptional options and nice atmosphere. We visited for breakfast and the was a large variety of options to choose from on their menu. The food was abundant enough for two people to enjoy for at least three days. The food was served on what appeared to be platters. The restaurant had ample parking space and an abundance of seating options to choose from at the time that we visited. The restaurant was also decorated nicely. Although the restaurant is on the east coast the people provided a beautiful display of southern hospitality!

We were visiting from Florida and had to stop by because the place had its own road sign. Everything was delicious. I tried the cornbread pancakes (which I had never heard of), and loved them. I was thrown by the veggie beef soup because it had noodles, but it was good as well! Our server was very friendly and gave great suggestions. Seems like it has an interesting past. We are definitely going back the next time we are nearby.

This isn't our favorite pancake house in Williamsburg, but it has generous portions, super-friendly service, and decent coffee.

My family and I ate there for breakfast while we were visiting Williamsburg. The wait was only about 10 minutes even though their were quite a few people in the lobby. The food was good and our waiter Vishyn was very friendly and attentive. The owner was very personable and welcoming, we talked about the patch wall and how it started. I will visit the next time we are there.

The host did not make us feel welcomed. We walked behind her as she took menu's off the tables, as we stood she finally told us which table. The table was dirty, wet and so was the menu on the bottom stack. The server (Ann B) on the other hand was completely different! She was very nice and her service was great! 💯

Francis was INCREDIBLE! We had a fairly large party, but she did a phenomenal job meeting our collective & individual needs. The food was stellar!!! When we come back up from North Carolina, we’ll ABSOLUTELY visit for the 2 F’s- Food & FRANCIS❗️

Smoke filled restaurant but not cigarettes, the kitchen smoked up the whole place and our eyes where burning the entire 2hr visit for breakfast. Made customers stand for 20min while they had 10+ tables available to sit at. First time there and last time visit.

The service was great. They know how to work a crowded Sunday service. The food was excellent and the waitress was attentive. My parents live in Williamsburg, so we have been to alot of the breakfast places. This might be my new favorite Eggs Benedict place. Love the police/military memorabilia on the walls.
