We are newer to the area and were having a hard time finding a good Chinese takeout place. We finally stumbled across China Wok and love it. The customer service is really great too.

We’re visiting a friend and we’re from Tampa. The food is very good. It tastes wonderful! He said it would be good and we’re very happy. We travel the country and this beats anything from New York, Florida, California, Michigan. Wow I’m pleasantly surprised!

Still Covid prison people. Pretty much treated rudely. Kung Poa chicken did not look like. The pictues. No vegetables. Visiting and would never go back. Nothing positive to say. Food was hot. Fried wanting with egg drop soup we cooked in old oil greasy and terrible taste. Find somewhere else to go.

Absolutely garbage Chinese food! Tasteless, salty, fishy. We got the beef and broccoli lunch special and I had to throw away half the meal as my stomach was already putting up a fight. I can't believe all the good reviews on here because this food was 100% horrible. If you thought the food was bad, the aftertaste and instant gut sadness adds to the charm. I hope we have better luck finding tasty Chinese food in Williamsburg because so far, all efforts have failed.

I have eaten here for years and recently got food poisoning after having takeout. The food tasted off and I ended up throwing it out after one bowl. Sadly that was enough and I spent the next day very sick. I'll never eat there again, sad to see it go downhill but you should steer clear.

What can one really say about this type of Chinese restaurant? The best thing about this place is the speed and accuracy of the products ordered. We have eaten from here pretty regularly and never have been unhappy afterwards, maybe a little stuffed though Staff is always friendly and I appreciate being to see where they prepare the food. Food is hot and made to order for entrees. Soups are pretty good as well. We prefer the combo plates or the lunch specials. Pretty straightforward shop that treats you right. Not fancy but great take out!

I'm giving the two stars for the lovely people who were very polite and attentive. But as for the food, it was really terrible. I'm not sure what province of China they're from or where they were taught to cook, but hot and sour soup is generally not thick, filled with floating mushrooms and about a quarter inch of chili oil, the hot comes from black pepper and the sour from vinegar neither of which were present. What's more, there's no sweetness add to that the different things that were in it were kind of odd ingredients for hot and sour soup! There were no lily flowers or black tree fungus but lots of shredded carrots which I've never seen. I give them credit for having a little egg and a little bit of tofu but definitely definitely not remotely close in look or taste to any recipe for hot and sour soup I've ever seen. The spring rolls had thick wrappers and mushy insides. The main dish I got tasted the same odd, sweet flavor as the hot and sour soup, so I think they just use the same flavorings I regardless of what the recipe is. I had ordered chicken and garlic sauce, but this was definitely not garlic sauce. They seem to be very nice people, but I would not go there if you wanted anything remotely like regular Chinese food. On the flipside, if you grew up somewhere where they had what I refer to as Chop Suey palaces and not authentic Chinese cuisine, you might like it. I was hoping that this would've been a great restaurant as it's close to where I live, but I just felt the need to warn others as basically my entire meal end it out in the garbage disposal .

My husband and I were craving Chinese food so we decided to check this place out. I placed a to go order inside the restaurant. It took about 15 minutes. Everything is made to order which we liked. Everything was fresh. I ordered vegetable lo mein with hot and sour soup. My husband ordered the sesame chicken plate. Everything is super yummy! We will be coming back here for sure.

I went to this place not knowing what to expect. I went in completely blind, but like Jesus once did, this food made me see again. I could see the beauty of this place and scrumptious food that lay behind the counter. And oh boy oh boy did I eat all of it. The women behind the counter was so nice and we talked and joked about things we enjoy such as anime. I will always come back to this place because I live in the walls now. :D
